Legendary Collection Kaiba is actually pretty good but Konami is just being an ass. Why did they not reprinted Blue eyes alternative white dragon and replaced it with the promos as secret rares which is retarted besides the fact that pulling short printed cards are annoying. Damn, these boxes are so random, I ordered only 6 boxes (half a case) and I pulled: 2 ash blossoms, 1 ghost ogre, 3 ghost reaper, and 3 droll and lock birds. Unfortunately, I got no raigeki, card of demise or utopia the lighting, but I was happy of I got overall.

First I'd like to say I did pre order 3 and look forward to it but I have to disagree about it being the best box. I'm sorry. With all the chase cards being incredibly short printed, having useless filler cards like Judgeman, not having Blue-eyes Alternative at all AND on top of everything; the promo cards are also in the packs making the pull ratios worse.

I still think it's one of the best sets but I 100% agree that they made some terrible decisions with this set too. I just hope the next Battle of Legends pack will be like last years and give us good easy to pull reprints.

That is a huge kick in the sack, not one Ash Blossom out of a case.. still an awesome opening though! 3 Raigeki and 3 Droll, 2 Ghost Ogre. Plus you pretty much got play sets of all the secrets! Keep it up brother!

I think Konami short printed the 4 cards people really want the most (Beezle, Ash Blossom, Raigeki and S39) on purpose for the simple fact of "Oh if they didn't find it at first they will just keep buying until they get enough of what they need" which as many yugitubers said before Why reprint it then if you're just gonna make it harder to get it? Honestly as an Unpopular opinion why not just reprint these really hunted after cards as commons in Structure/starter decks? I mean yea they won't be Shiny holos like most want but it would be quick and easy to get the cards you need? Think of it, instead of Spending like 20 dollars on 1 copy of Raigeki, why not buy 3 decks to get 3 common versions. (And yes I know its limited to 1 bad example but then again people have many decks so why not?) Also if it were me I would remove the secret rare sloted for the promo pack cards and put in off the top of my head Blue Eyes Alternative white Dragon, Blue-Eyes Chaos Max Dragon, Chaos Form, Paladin of White Dragon and White Dragon Ritual as the other slotted Secrets cause why give you a promo pack just to say "Oh yea they're also in the pack rarity bumped good luck!"

Also, they reprinted several artworks of blue eyes that don’t need a reprint, when it comes to pull ratios, they are basically taking up 4 slots, as well as 2 artworks of crush card virus, so that basically makes the set 114 cards instead of 110 cards, so yeah, more filler cards.

That is true since they could of just given us 1 art of Blue-Eyes (How about that one with Kaiba with it?) and just use 1 Crush Card Virus artwork and raise the damn printing of Ash and Raigeki. I know it looked like Cyberknight got some good pulls of it but many have reported getting basically the same amount of Ash Blossoms he got of it 0. Its why I think cards people really want need structure/Starter deck reprints since then boom buy 3 decks and you have your playset of cards. even if they're commen they would be easier.

yes, especially generic cards like raigeki and solemn strike(this card missed twice, it's in the OCG cyberse Link structure deck but unfortunately not in TCG version and it could've been in fairy structure deck as well)

honestly, I kinda want to buy the set, but what konami did to this set is just unforgivable, 1: bad promo cards (maybe rhapsody is okay at 1 but rest is trash), 2: they give us so many filler cards, including useless vanillas like judge man, unnecessary different artworks, as well as promo cards in the pack. 3: short print chase cards like ash blossom and raigeki. I can't convince myself to buy the set because of what they did. I will just wait a couple weeks and buy singles when prices start to settle down to reasonable prices. I will not going to support them by buying this set, I will just wait for battle of legend 2 which is going to be released in June, hopefully it's as good as the 1st one, and hopefully they don't give us too many filler cards.

@cyberknight so about the short print, Konami announced it in a post but deleted the post afterward, after seeing some openings I can confidently say they deleted the post because they decided to pull a "komoney" move and short print the cards everyone wants (hand traps)

It’s an awesome set with great reprints, but I can agree it was a bad idea putting the promos in the packs as well. There are too many good reprints so I imagine Konami is just planning to add blue eyes alternative in a future set as that alone will make people want to buy it. It’s all about marketing 😋😂

Watched a guy open a case to the tune of 4 ghost reaper, 4 ghost ogre, 5 droll, 3 ash, 3 raigeki, 2 utopia and 2 beelze. Best opening ive seen so far. But when you factor in openings like those vs ones like this with no ash. I bet it does even out. There probably isnt any short prints. But they arent nessessarily distributed well.

This set made me mad honestly. OTS's are charging 40-55 for these. Promos are also in the set as higher rarities and also short prints combined with useless filler cards doesn't help. This reminds me of Duelist Saga last year good cards but a bad set overall. We need another Battles of Legend.

duelist saga doesn't have many filler cards like this set does. duelist saga only has a few unnecessary reprints like DD warrior lady for example, but most reprints are actually good cards. what's bad about duelist saga is that the set doesn't have many good new cards, but reprints are pretty good, unfortunately, when battles of legend came out, it pretty much replace duelist saga, because 2 most expensive and chase cards in duelist saga got reprinted again in battles of legend, and they are MX-Saber Invoker, and trishula. It then makes duelist saga not a good money set anymore. Battle of Legend took over duelist saga.

If I have one complaint about this, it's that Union Hangar and Chaos Emperor Dragon weren't reprinted here. I mean, Chaos Emperor Dragon should've been obvious, but why reprint A, B, C, and ABC as Secret Rares but leave out the field spell? (It already being super rare is no excuse. Super Rare doesn't equal Secret Rare [and I don't like Super Rares, I'd might as well stick with the common]. I don't want to hear that crap from anyone else.)

Man, I'm so sorry for the bad luck you had with his box. Not even 1 Ash Blossom? Really? That only means some other case got the Ash Blossoms which 'should've' been in yours. In general, each case averages out at ~2 Ashes, so getting 0 is an absolute back-stab. This is really making me nervous on my 4 pre-ordered boxes. I made the boxes price back form ghost ogre and raigeki in 1 box plus secret rare blue eyes cards worth about 15 dollars together and a secret rare abc buster so good box for me wanted the terra XD. I got for the blue eyes secrets return of the dragon lords, blue eyes shining, sage with eyes of blue, silver's cry, dragon spirit of white, and cards of consance. oh and forgot enemy controller so an amazing box even though I didn't get ash blossom. so in total my box was worth 60 give or take a few dollars.
