The difference is that he was hacked by a MaxTac Netrunner, Disabling most of his Cyberware. It's why MaxTac was capable of cutting him down as easily as they did. If he fought back against the Netrunner (or if he had self-ICE like smasher does), this would be an entirely different story.

@@doctorx2307 I think they miscalculated the power progression of the player. Like level 40 is not twice as strong as level 20, it's more like 20 times stronger lol. Since you can unlock certain key skills and abilities, can purchase and install more kinds of cyberwares etc. The enemy power progression just can't keep up with the player. A team of MaxTac is more like dummy dolls than actual threat.

I haven’t seen a good overclock netrunner v maxtac video yet. It’s really powerful but you have to farm beat cops for health. A lot of challenging movement and crowd control; but immensely satisfying. Especially when you proc into mitigation and agility over HP and armor.

Best utility for crowd control for me proven to be the arm launcher system. It stuns them with shots and you can do a Quake to knock them down and keep yourself safe from taking too much dmg. With proper mobility and target selection, it's unbeatable

I wish they had made it so more than 1 maxtac squad could engage you at a time, then it would feel like you're still vulnerable and not just a full on cybergod, cause i don't think any build or playstyle would allow you to survive 3+ maxtac squads at the same time on very hard even with the berserk or sandivistan with minimum cooldown even with the added cyberware that gives 10.5% cooldown regen per kill. if every enemy on you was part of maxtac with 12-16 or more enemies on the field you would certainly start getting overwhelmed and wouldn't be able to take enemies down fast enough to recover cooldowns.

Idk if it might just be me, but I feel like this is one of the hardest open world games compares to others like Skyrim, Fallout 4, etc. Skyrim and F4, it felt like you were an unstoppable killing machine. Here, it just feels you could get one-two shot by anything at any given moment, regardless of how strong your character is. Would anyone here be willing to explain?

whatchu mean hardest? I defeat Adam Smasher with only a Dildo on very High difficulty on my First Playthrough. This game is only hard at the start when you can't afford the right Chrome, after you get the right chrome you can literally defeat everyone with your bare hand(gorilla arm)
