Cyberpunk 2077: A Futuristic Masterpiece (Review)

This is probably in the top 5 best games I've ever played, and highly recommend it to anyone out there! Have you played it already? Or plan on playing it? Let me know about your experiences with it!

Couldn't agree more with you on replayability. I build an entire new character just for the Phantom Liberty DLC after my first playthrough. The DLC alone feels like a new game, which granted me two dozen hours of playtime, more then many modern game campaigns.

Finally got a around to playing phantom liberty, was epic dlc. Cyberpunk is a masterpiece game, may be best game I've ever played.

Ok, then why sell it to people on consoles that can't run it? It's universally known it was a terrible launch, and it had problems. I think the title is fair.

I always hear good things about NV, never got around to it tho. The whole Fallout series I've neglected tbf. Only rly played 3, and enjoyed the series. Will have to check it out. Want to try 76 too.

@@NewbWorld NV as far as I can tell is an amazing game... held together with spit, band aids and prayers Belive me the game withstands the test of time, but not the software it runs on, you need 1 or 2 mods so it doesn't crash every 5 minutes because it's developers (mainly "bethesda") refuse to update it The storylines, gameplay, consequences etc... all of them are very similar between games (NV and CP77 i mean) with karma and reputation not being in CP77 in exchange for further character customization They are so similar they both started as unplayable messes when they came out (even though a LOT of NV shills will try to deny it)

The game only ran badly on previous gen consoles, and this upset people who insisted on calling a 7 year old console "current gen". TBH - CDPR painted themselves into a corner when they promised to release Cyberpunk 2077 on XB1 and PS4 - those versions should have been scrapped (and it would have upset a lot of people regardless). Honestly - it was pretty crazy how quickly people turned on CDPR and all that goodwill just evaporated. But CDPR being themselves put in the work to do right by the customers. And it did change the landscape for publishers who understood it might be better to delay a game than risk a launch like CP2077.

Good PCs had no issues on launch? It's a shame they didn't just scrap old consoles, they would have won so many awards. Nice to see them win an award eventually though cuz the game deserves it.

@@NewbWorld I ran it on eggs box (serious eggs), and had no problems - I could count the number of game-breaking bugs on one hand.

Good video. I always like to listen to people who decide to give this amazing game a go, after all Cyberpunk has been through. And let me tell you, you will not regret Phantom Liberty. The moment the title pops on the screen in the first PL mission gives me chills of exitement no matter how many times I've played this game. Honestly, I get why people were upset on the release, I myself had weak laptop back then and had to play on the lowest of low settings, but if there is one thing that CDPR always delivers - it's the plot, the characters, the atmosphere around the whole story. That was the reason I turned blind eye on the bugs and fell in love with it, currently on my 10th or 11th playthrough if I'm counting correctly. And this comes from a person that grew up on TES, Witcher and fantasy books and considered herself as someone who will never play a game set in dystopian, cyberpunk universe. Oh boy, was I wrong.

Wow, that's a lot of playthroughs. I want to 100% complete my first character, and then I am going to go back and right some of the wrong decisions along the way.

replay ability doesnt really change much. they promised more lifepath changes that didnt come.

You mean from launch? I still feel like there's no many options. Not just the endings, but like going back and seeing what would happen if you make different decisions.

@NewbWorld I would love to see that I want anything new from them would be good tbh like they could put new vehicles, more boats, aircrafts, the possibilities of that game is endless but with game companies such as this it usually is up to the higherups.

100% you should check it out, especially if you like a good story. I played on PC, so not sure how it'll look on Ps4, but even without the stunning graphics it would have still been a great experience.

I've played it at launch, again after 1.6 and again after 2.1 and I gotta say they kinda made it worse. I like the things they've added but the changes to cyberware feels awful. The shards are inconsistent and the cyberware itself feels lackluster offering mostly stat bonuses. It feels like it is still confused how to do a rpg and fps put together.

I wouldn't know how it used to be, but I loved some the the cyberware. It completely changed how I played. But maybe those were the ones it launched with.
