Never got into all the hype. I play it on xbox series x and i think it's an amazing game, nothing groundbreaking but nothing near as bad as some people say. I've had a few small glitches and bugs but nothing major. Interesting characters, beautiful visuals, cool bikes and cars, great music, great humor, Keanu Reeves, funny side quests, plenty of clothing options and things to unlock. Honesly one of the best games i've played in a while. Looking forward to see what CDPR adds next

Exactly my thoughts! I was a little bit hyped when it was first announced, cus I loved Witcher - but... I'm getting a bit old, it was taking a bit of time, and I started losing interest. I downloaded the game almost as a "fuck it, why not" after two of my friends got it - all of us sort of shruggingly, and man... first of all - all the rage... I don't understand any of it. Secondly - there's SO much cool stuff to unpaaack, you just listed it all, I guess I'll add *endless* world lore - and, to go alongside great humor - great melancholy! I found many of the stories to be deeply emotional! Every time I play through a quest like that, where I'm left really feeling things for these characters - hell - feeling sadness for Johnny Silverhand - I'm asking myself, all of these raging, crying, death-threatening people - did they even try? Did they play at ALL beyond driving fast and shooting loud bang bang, do they give *any* shits about the game at all? Again - you said it, and I'll say it too - one of the best games I've played in a while! Can't wait for a possible DLC to expand on this allready amazing world!

That is such a painful comparison because I distinctly remember playing GTA V and going 'holy shit!' when you first arrive in Los Santos. R* are the only devs capable of doing what they do with open worlds....in fact, CDPR should have taken those millions they blew on advertising, Keanu and PR, and done a collab with R* to make this game. CDPR should have focused on RPG design and lore/worldbuilding, R* on the world and AI.

I mostly had default recommended settings on when I was at this spot in the game. I've since bumped up some options to match the recommendations on the DF optimization video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnSVZpSjl6lrrNU). Everything still runs well but looks better-other than those hanging beads in my apt bathroom... That said, I'm not sure about *this* specific issue as I've pretty much put down anything I think looks weird to being a style/design choice from the devs. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ Best of luck!

Know I'm late and all, but whatever, personally never could empathise with all the people screaming, because when I played at launch I got to the beginning of the end, some 60 hours, *never* a single bug, I decided to start a new game and finish it at 1.4/5, only then I had regulary saw some cars spawning out of nowhere and such, still nothing game-breaking but yeah, it's a great game that got fucked by it's own hype and standard company bullshit of needing to release shit too early

The brunt of the problem was that it was billed as a cross-gen game but never properly developed for the XB1/PS4 (which also caused next-gen development to suffer). On the PC side, it was mainly a smooth experience for folks with higher-end systems, but even a lot of folks who met the "Recommended" requirements did encounter very frustrating bugs (like infinitely respawning police).

So I decided to load up the game recently while taking a break from studying for midterms, saw there was an update and I did enjoy the game my first time through so I was like lets have some fun. It makes a little sense for Street Kid, since the premise is that you're returning from a bit of time away from Night City. It could be seen as Jackie introducing you to a "new" Night City and giving you a refresher. Makes zero sense as Corpo, though, since it's implied that you and Jackie are already buds and that you're deeply ingrained in Night City, so him giving you the whole walk and introduction makes about as much sense as it would to tour locals around in their own city.
