I doubt it. CD Projekt Red is now fully committed and fully focused on ESG and DEI, everything else became secondary and a lot of the devs have moved on to other studios. The company is now a shadow of its former self. I love this game too and have played it for hundreds of hours, even streamed it for friends, but the sad reality is things are not looking promising for the next Cyberpunk.

I sided with So-Mi because I realized what she was. She was what V is, what V is only good for - a weapon. But she was worn out, used so much, worn down. Either she would keep being used and die eventually, or be thrown out. She had a plan to get away, be recycled, rest. When V is worn out and no longer a capable weapon, what happens to V? Discarded. Forgotten. Given the barest niceties, if that. I could sympathize. I wish the game let me express that more, along with, well, fuck the NUSA-corpse-that-Militech-wears-as-a-cloak state she works for, as well. So we let her rest, pried her out of the hands wielding her. Maybe MBE and so will milk her for info, but hey, it screws over the NUSA anyway.

The best thing about So Mi is that if only she could really help V. She would do that. She is more human than she realizes. Despite everything what happened she was able to keep humanity inside her and she was fightning for her freedom like a true strong girl. Yes So Mi is true strong female character. Not this psychopath Ellie from the last of us 2 and other tomboys. Tomboys thinks that they are strong females because they have short hair and wear male clothes but they are not strong. They are weak. Girl is strong when she is feminime. So Mi had her feminime moments and she doesn't see emotions as weakness. No matter what complex guys and tomboys think about her. So Mi is true strong female character and she is stronger than every Ellie. Abby. Nadine and other disgusting tomboys from Naughty Dog games and Square Enix.

Totally with you. So Mi is not as good of a liar as she thinks and I knew the entire time that there was going to be some kind of betrayal from her. I respected her for being straight up about it at the end, and I just thought...yeah yeah. I know. Let's get you on this spacecraft. Tell Lucy I said hi. No way was I going to give her up to Reed. I know that Reed is also a victim in his own way, but unlike So Mi, despite his big talk, he was never going to break away from his master. Playing the Reed ending definitely enforced my feelings on the matter. The only way out for Reed is if you make a choice that he's literally incapable of making himself. Also, So Mi being a mirror to V is also apt in how you yourself escape. The only way out for you is to give her up and live with the fact that you put her into hell. And you lose everything to be free...including Johnny, including your friends...including your lover. And even your chrome. You're just a nobody, and even though you're "free", you're also prey to anyone with even bootleg tier 1 mods. That's what Cyberpunk is all about. The only way to be free is to give up everything, and everyone. And even then, you'll probably lose.

The more we advance to her the more we manualy deactivate the facility making it more and more instabile so that black wall ai starts slipping through like the cerebus ai. At the end the black wall Ai Finaly is able to spot the breach aka cyno and Song and strats removing the breaching vector while it allows Song to shut the robot down,it also cant differentiate between her and her breach Protokol she used to cross the blackwall. So it all gets deleted also Song is full of rouge ais already.Alot of reasons for the Blackwall AI to neutralize the threat.

Damn...as much as I like to stand with SoMi, I consider Somewhat Damaged to contain some of the best storytelling in the entire game. It feels canon in a lot of ways, and the fact that it is the more tragic, dark, and less "ideal" ending makes the idea of it being canon even more compelling. The first time I completed PL, this was the ending I got and I'm really glad I went this route. Flying her to the moon is cool, but I feel like it is just not as emotionally/psychologically impactful.

Free songbird - once you played this path, heard this song... it will stick to your mind like superglue. You may not remember it's notes or be able to humm it from your memory, but once you hear it again - you can recall all or the emotions it gave you, when you went inside Cynosure core for the first time. And it... hurts... so good to hear it again.

I completed 2 ending of PL, betray songbird and betray Reed.. when i choose to side with reed, i saw somi backstory, and thats really... sad.. she's just a slave, alone, desperate. Thats why in my opinion, send somi to the moon is the best ending for her. She just want to be cured, she just wanna live like a normal being not a slave by myers. Maybe she was betray reed, and betray V, but i think most of the people will do the same especially if they had a backstory like somi, cuz they just wanna survive And when you choose to give somi to reed, in the ending johny will appear and said, he felt bad to her. She's just alone and at least V has johnny

At the end of the day it feels like your forced to choose between 2 options and its "what's best for So Mi" and "whats best for not Reed...but yourself" do you help her escape this hell that she has essentially built for herself and absolve her or do you side with Reed and find a way to finally ensure your survival no matter the cost. At the end of the day there truly are no winners for the main cast of CP2077, their fates were decided from the moment you launched the game all thats left is how you as the player will lead them there.

Songbird use V to achieve her goal, she was lying to him and she was not totally honest with him. In fact V love songbird but his will to survive prevails, this is why I think cannon V will choose Reed's path to maximize his chance to live. V love songbird but he love life more. My corpo V was human, sensitive to songbird's situation but in the end he understand that songbird was going crazy so in pain he set songbird to Myers. For you to give her to myers means that you had to cross a line that song never did which is giving her a chance. You lie to her twice. Out of the very same delusion that reed succumbs to. The idea that as long as she is "alive" its good. Or you become a true monster and get the cure for yourself not even allowing her to die. she tells you the truth and evens the playing field in killing moon. She saves you from the cerberus in somewhat damaged while asking you to kill her. But you do not. You have to be a monster in the cure ending. A perfected songbird who will do anything to survive. This was the first ending I picked. I knew So Mi was playing me from the start, so I was never going to trust her, but I knew V was caught up in all this crap - the NUSA, the President, So Mi & the sh*t on the other side of the Blackwall. While So Mi mirrors V, someone whose life has ended as violently as a head on collision in slow motion, I can't get behind someone like her, who'll lie to get what they need to survive. It's not about saving the world, it's about surviving. At least with V, or my V, it was all above board. Everyone knew the stakes, everyone knew the deal. I wasn't unsympathetic though & ended her suffering. This is the only ending where Reed actually grows as a person as well and comes to understand his faults and that hard truths cut both ways and for that, it is my favourite.

Does she though...? Sure, she is one of the best written characters - and that is why we can have these endless discussions. But for every argument of her being good, you can present one that offsets it in full. My Nomad V empathizes with her longing for life, for freedom; understand, that you cannot judge a person confined in a golden cage for one teenager mistake. My Streetkid V sees her as a person who, posessing such power at her hands, could have said "no" multiple times in the past years, probably avoiding a lot of the damage she did to others and suffered herself. Instead, she sold out to FIA either for personal gain or because she was afraid to face the consequences of her previous mistakes; as a result, she chose to betray multiple times the ones closed to her, because she tried to avoid a price of her past wrongdoings, but only kept piling them up. I also acknowledge that V has no right to judge her 😅, being oh so much willing to down a whole AV just to get one guy (basically an equivalent of all the human losses of the SFO crash), crash the Arasaka parade (basically an equivalent of the Stadium shotout) or storm the Arasaka tower (basically an equivalent of the NCX massacre). So, yeah, there's that. Might be nihilistic, but for the humankind the best ending of CP2077 would be V heeding Silverhand's first words and choosing "the path of the least resistance" at the start of Act2

Myers and arguably Hansen had it coming, but V and yes Reed, along with untold hundreds of other people caught in the crossfire of her Blackwall shenanigans, did not and were nowhere near the only people she actively went out of her way to fuck over because it was conveniently expedient at the time. Don't seem to notice that the game is doing its best to try and convince you to get wrapped around her finger so it's somewhat of a mixed route to take when she inevitably screws you over, and far too many people are too quick to jump on the "I want to send my robo-waifu victim to the moon just like David!" because she's pretty and people hurt her, while ignoring the plethora of signs strewn about (but not directly focused on) that she's absolutely no different from the pit of snakes she chose to jump into, rather than take her chances with facing the consequences of pissing off several corporations when she was younger, something V absolutely can and does. "Complete selfish asshole" indeed for not being a doormat to a manipulative borg well past her expiration date and spilling Blackwall corruption everydamnwhere she goes. Gimmie a fucking break. Depends on what you think is important to you in Phantom Liberty. Myers wants to reunify the States. Her intentions are clear. You are giving her a 3rd generation warfare nuke if the NUSA doesn't have any already if you give her So Mi. In that same note the NUSA cures you for your support to their cause. Not a bad deal for some. However So Mi is indeed a victim of her hubris and the FIA. Her penetration of the Black Wall means rouge A.I are tearing her apart and the she's become too valuable for anyone to let her go. If you believe after multiple consecutive betrayals of everyone around her is forgivable then sending her to the moon is the best choice. Even though we don't really know what they want with her on the moon.

Also lots of games have a very bias writers that only believe what they write is truly morally correct. When they see you hating on their characters they get confused because they believe they are morally superior. So Mi in Cyberpunk is complex and actually Human. There's no political bend to her other than she's basically been screwed over by big government.
