I kinda don’t want CDPR to touch the Witcher for now. Unless they put real time into it like 4-5 years. They shouldn’t taint the waters of their best series unless they put something truly great out under its name or people are going to be angry from the whiplash cyberpunk gave them.

Personally I'm not a witcher fan, I was looking forward to them moving on to cyberpunk and showing it that same focus and treatment that they did for years with the witcher, this feels like a retreat tbh

They're probably going back to what they're comfortable with. They were over ambitious in getting into a different genre with Cyberpunk.
