EXACTLY. Like, yeah there's glitches and bugs, and it didn't have the neatest or cleanest launch ever, but it's a fantastic game nevertheless. The soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard, the story was riveting and I was completely invested on my first play-through, the series of endings make you actually feel like what you pick is valuable to the story. Characters are well written and the main character dialogue was beautifully voice acted and performed. Say what you will about the bugs, but this game is amazing and buying it was a fantastic choice. The biochip song always hit me harder than any other song from cyberpunk, especially when you’re sitting on the rooftop with Johnny. The music expressed so well how exhausted V is, and how much despair they’re going through. The only thing that could make the biochip song more sad is the immediate follow up of the dialogue and music of the suicide ending. Even if this game is wasted potential and is really buggy, the storytelling, music, and ambience is a masterpiece, and cyberpunk will always remain one of my favorite games.
@whyhatestrangers2 жыл бұрын
Same. If you’re playing mindfully, the game takes you on a ride that is so memorable and unique that you’re sad to let it end even though your character has been through absolute hell and is just ready for it to finally be over. That’s why I feel like the secret ending with the casino heist is the best, even though V’s love of a lifetime bails on him and he’s on borrowed time, he still has the drive for one more legendary gig. At first I was pissed that we don’t get to experience the final gig, but it’s better that way when all is said and done. After the credits start rolling, you feel so empty, but still full of memories while V goes off to face something you could never imagine or understand - and he faces it without his friends, and without Johnny’s help, and without his lover’s support, and even without you.

Maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but I loved how the deaths and the themes used always provided so much insight into the world of CP77. Jackie's theme is soft, melancholic. It's the loss of innocence and the sense of invulnerability that stems from it, with the quiet tolling of the bell echoing Jackie's book. Then you have Joshua's, dark and somber, because you are privy to what he cannot understand: his own quest for redemption is not allowed out of charity by the media, but out of morbid greed. Then, the crushing theme for Evelyn, the woman who outsmarted people way above her station, but couldn't make it, despite having gone through hell and back. Because the City took too much and left her with nothing, despite her triumph against impossible odds. Then, you have Johnny's theme, a dulled echo of his favorite song. It feels like the death of the ambitious and rumbunctious Humanities, crushed to nothingness. But in that motif, you have the death of a man that had gone too far and refused to back down. There's lots of similarities to me between Alt and Evelyn, although we have little information in-game about Alt's backstory. Two women who fought back with brilliance, only to be ensnared in violence. And finally, V's death theme (the first one, the bullet to the head). That cold, entrancing theme, where you wonder if everything you did even mattered as you contemplate the end of the line. I love the fact that the biochip theme plays at the end of the game, echoing the same feeling of dread you felt when V died. Wondering where the path leads now, wondering how much more will be lost. This game is truly a masterpiece.

Jackie Welles wasn't with us a very long time but he quickly became my best friend and his death easily is now one of the saddest imo, how it must have shattered V only to then be betrayed by Dex and left for dead.

It truly is a soul-crushing start to the game...I'm on a new playthrough and it's just as depressing as it was the first time. Game is so sad.

I can’t put it down, I’ve grown physically attached to this game, it’s perfect in every way, scratches all the right itches, from fun loving moments to pure gut wrenching scenes, I was never once disappointed with any of it. I want to live long enough to see all this come true and experience the true emotion, I’ve gotten my high from this game but I want more, I thrive on it.

Yes. Alright. We all know this game had some mayor flaws. Broken Mechanics, broken AI ... But the music, the caracter design, the story that left me in tears several times, the whole ambience ... MASTERPIECE!

This game is something different. This is the first game where I feel every move, any word, any dramatic sad scene. I have never been so swallowed by a game but with cyberpunk it's completely different. The story and perfect ambience for the type of scene was completely mind blowing for me and still is. Huge love can't wait for the dlc.

My second playthrough, I sat on that rooftop at the end for a real long time contemplating my options. Those calls from Judy, Panam and the rest at the end after V chose to end his own life... man those were haunting. I'll never forget how broken they sounded.

I first was enjoying Cyberpunk but never expected to get this emotionally invested into the game The Jackie thing was obviously going to happen but I never expected to get chocked up until my female V said See you in the Major leagues Jack... with that small struggle in her voice that got to me she did an amazing job with the Voice acting

I don't know how you can keep making these and use the same motiffs and themes as in past videos and STILL come up with something that conveys its own unique feel, but keep doing it! This is food for my soullllllll. this one is especially bittersweet as it covers alot of tragic moments, but it's wonderful all the same.

Man the Johnny one is so well done. It feels like Johnny has changed and is about to live his last moments with you. It sounds sad reminding you of all missions being together and now going to be seperated forever. The song makes you feel like johnny, changed and about to do one last thing before saying farewell to his best friend.

this game has touched grounds so close to me, that it didnt broke me, but it absolutely shattered me. Everytime I hear the soundtrack, my senses just start to jump for a sec. I absolutely loved the game, the story, the visuals, the art, the characters and everything around it. I have not had any issues with any potential bugs. But this game is hardest hitting to players who really dive personally deep into games. You feel, what others feel... You think what others think... If only one more time I could experience this game for the first time. Only once.

Whole soundtrack of Cyberpunk makes me cry. This is masterpiece. I love music for that. Every time I play this game I feel all the emotions that have been put into this project. I feel like I'm living there. I experience scenes from the game as if the story was telling about me, and the music perfectly applies to me the emotions of the characters.

Say whatever the hell you want about this game, but nothing can take away the fact that I had a BLAST playing it. The characters, the ambience, the music, the vibe as a whole. I just love it.

The game is just so amazing. Look how it doesn't hide from the darkness and horror. Jackie killed so early and tragically. Evelyn brutally kidnapped and tortured, even pushed to take her own life. Watching Judy heartbreak as she mourns her friend. side quests with BD scrollers who record the death of children. Corrupt cops, a serial killer and corps who do whatever they like at the expense of anyone. Never before has a game made me feel so sad and hurt, whenever I play the sad endings I sob at all the characters leaving messages for V. The story is beautifully crafted, it's a shame the game didn't meet full expectations however what CDPR made is still a great game. Imagine this in 4 years time.

I played this game exclusively at night, both in-game and in-real-life. Hearing these soundtracks while playing the story really puts life in perspective. What will the world truly look like in the year 2077?
@vladimirchernikov42492 жыл бұрын
I don't know. The 2030s are predicted to be a game changer. If I make it to 2077 I will be 93 years old. Not sure I even want to see what the world is like given what we are dealing with right now, and I'm to just talking about the pandemic, but all the politics and everything that goes with this thing we call life. Thirty years ago I was just a kid, not even a teenager yet, and I had no idea that the here and now would be what it is. It is disappointing and frightening, and it feels like with each year we lose a little bit more of our humanity as our technology only serves to dehumanize us from each other. I feel like we are losing what it means to be human beings. Four generations from now, if the current trends keep evolving and mutating and we become more and more devisive, will there even be a future for humanity a couple generations after that. What will we become? I'm just a relic of the 80s and 90s. I'm looking for hope and I see very little but glimmers of what we used to be. Our only hope is the future generations but what becomes of us when we don't allow the future generations to develop naturally, to be led by technology that we are not socially compatible to because our technology is grossly outsourcing our own social progress.

Honestly this video is a masterpiece, just like the game (despite all its problems). The order in which you put all songs, finishing with Never Fade Away. Not only that but the scenario is just perfect, the sunlight coming out after the dark and sad night feels like a warm sign of hope after all the grief and depression. Almost a reminder to all os us that things can get better after the shitstorm. I just discovered your channel, but I'll make sure to return here everytime I'm feeling down and need some time to get my shit together. Never stop fighting.

Everytime i hear the biochip theme, it honestly breaks me. Like the times it was played throughout the game and having it be the music at the end of the game where everything goes to shit. It's like those sleeper activation codes and stuff where they say stuff or make you hear a song everyday so you never forget it, but the second something bad happens or you snap while listening to it, the thing being said or the song being heard just makes you lose it. Similar feeling to how i feel about the biochip, it's played so much throughout the main story but when that final descision comes and you have to decide your fate, it just makes listening to it even harder.

I started playing this game fully aware of the critics. I was analytical about it, i was expecting the worst experience of my life. However, the moment Act 1 ended and jackie song played and i almost cried, unbaled to play for over 15min, because of a character that was barely in the game, i knew i was in for one of the best experiences i ever played. And it was everything and more.

You said it. I began playing it because I was looking for something to satisfy a Grandtheft Auto itch, figured I'd see this "broken" game and laugh at the bugs. 240 hours later of gameplay, Night City hasn't left me. It's a part of me now.
