For me personally 1. Somewhat interesting dialogue especially if you have a corpo life path. 2. There’s no benefit to killing him as far as endings/gameplay go, anyway. Not to go on a tangent, but an infamy system similar to New Vegas would’ve done this game well.

when i fight adam as a netrunner, i generally quickhack all the turrets to make them allies and turn them on. generally, the mobs get shreded by the time they see me. plus, even on very hard, it's VERY rare that all turrets are down before adm is killed, as even if he sometimes attack them, he generaly focus me. once, the only destroyed turrets was destroyed by the missiles locked on me as collateral damage. this way, not only do i not need to destroy them, i don't even need to waste a single bullet on him. only the turrets, the ally and my quickhacks are damaging smasher. adam smasher isn't worth a single bullet from my netrunner v... literaly.

Still feels like this game could of had more endings and options for V it’s edge runners all over again, with the right modifications V could of been in harmony with Johnny or the delemain super ai could separate Them in separate bodies, even the right upgrades could affect it like maxing out intelligence and body…. Thank god blackwall gateway takes actual strategy and knowhow of the hacking to work as OP as this. Anyone just queueing blackwall gateway alone, not using overclock, not focusing on health regen, and somehow expecting Blackwall Gateway to spread like the plague is doing it wrong. You can be playing on vanilla, queue it up on 3 or 4 enemies the right way (i queue 3 tier 2 reboot optics before it so it uploads so much faster), activate overclock right before it starts, and watch a literal crowd of almost 20 enemies get wiped out at an exponential rate, you just gotta know how to keep yourself alive through it and how to keep overclock going in between. I also recommend axolotl for that.

You can get this level of power unmodded, even on very hard. The more you invest in it, the more it gives you. Synapse Burnout at iconic tier does + %700 damage with ram being 0. Upload uncommon reboot optics first and the total upload time is 1 second per kill. Proper cyberware, healing item usage keeps your health up, and synapse keeps overclock at %100 uptime. [20 Body, 15 Reflexes, 9 Tech, 15 Cool, 20 Intelligence. Cox 2 cybersomatic optimiser, Alolotol, (Iconic integumentary w health regen, forgot name), + %15 health regen while optical camo is active, + %100 mitigation chance when dashing, + %30 mitigation strength in air, Health item charge when eliminating enemies while adrenaline rush is active. Bloodware & other INT based healing/ram regeneration perks]

i wish netrunning builds in this game could be like this without mods, you can get some pretty broken combos with the right gear but not unlimited ram and instant blackwall hacks. used to be way easier to use stealthily too but now anyone can see you if you don't cut the connection
