Remember this game is still pretty big and ambitious. It ain't perfect, far from it. With such rather big and ambitious games, screw ups still happen. But I say give it some time. Personally I've been enjoying my experience in Night City so far, despite the bugs and rather low performance, but it runs at a slightly more than tolerable level for me, so all's good.

A game without any sort of pederstrian or vehicle AI, zero cosmetic personalization past the character creator, they have like 3-5 different cars going around, nothing to do in an empty city apart from the missions. These aren't bugs that are going to be fixed, these are fundamental deficiencies that they didn't even plan on putting in the game. "It ain't perfect": this is a suitable statement for Ubisoft games. They are pretty buggy, not so optimized, but at least they have a gameplay concept and an okay open world, that is fun to explore. This game is almost not even an open world game, the city has no purpose, you cannot interact with it in any way. Ain't perfect is a very generous thing to say about this game.

If adding pedestrian AI is a DLC, then this is a pre-alpha build of the game, and we are paying them for the opportunity to test their game, so that they can make more money, when they actually complete it in 2 years.

There was clearly a mismanagement issue going on.

The story is decent, the gunplay and level design are average (Deus Ex and Dishonored easily outclass it), the loot is awful, the AI is embarassing for ALL NPCs, skill trees are uninspired, world interactivity is low, and side content is nothing you wouldnt see in an Ubisoft game. And the PC version is still filled with gamebreaking bugs even at top performace. 7/10 at best.

The city doesn’t feel “alive” at all, npcs (enemies AND citizens) are completely brain dead. True. There's not much to do in the world other than sidequests. Exploring isn't rewarding as well.

@@santhoshsridhar5887 playing it too. Yeah it isn't perfect, but what did y'all expect? For a game, this overhyped it's bound to have some problems. Gunplay in mediocre, Graphics are beautiful, RPG elements are good and the story is amazing... Exactly what I expected. So where's the downside? Bugs... Can most of them be ignored and even bring some fun? Yes. If you wouldn't have jumped on the hype train, you'd be happy with the game...

You can already buy hookers, food, have conversations with vendors that may lead to a Side mission, have random encounters with people, find a talking smart gun that evolves the more you use it. What else did you expect? Play chess?

3:13 ah the characters footsteps make heavy boot sounds despite them not wearing any clothes, just like the witcher 3. Glad to see they kept their audio design as detailed as possible.
