A rendition of a tradtional Japanese song that appears in Cyberpunk 2077. It is sung by Hanako Arasaka during the parade mission. It wasn't included in the official soundtrack, so I dug into the files to find a clean version, enjoy!

This was the most beautiful and stunning mission i've ever played. The atmosphere was so dense. I stood on the balcony listening to that beautiful music for like 10 minutes. Despite all the bugs, glitches and unfulfilled promises, cyberpunk is amazing when it comes to atmosphere, missions and characters. Srsly, hats off to the people who designed this mission.

Such a shame my game is bugged. There was no music during the parade, and I can't hear any guitars in the game either. Radio works fine t hough.

I got it during patch 2.0, with PL. The game is massive and ambitious. You literally have an almost 1/1 city to explore, with a zillion npcs. It’s such a great game, and I’d be fine if they took their time on the next.

This is a song made in Japan over 100 years ago. It was composed while looking at the once prosperous ruined castle. It sings about the fact that no matter how great our glory may be, it doesn't last long and things change. What kind of feelings did Hanako have when she sang this song?

Could represent a ton of things. In the lore its likely about the end of Saburo’s reigb, but metagame wise it could represent the fall of America, the degradation of night city from capitalist utopia to corporate hellscape, V’s life nearing its end… God I love the symbolism in this game. Tons of the songs in the soundtrack have double meanings, the one they portray in-game and often metagame messages that reflect V’s journey.

[Spoiler] Don't know if anyone got this. When you run to finish the netrunner you will hear Hanako start singing this song. Don't rush to the netrunner, there is a place at the balcony you can interact, then V will stay there and listen to the song

This is why I love the game, even after doing most of the stuff in theee play through, you still find something new.. imagine if we got even a more polished version, shame they kinda shot themselves in the leg with the release.. will be hard to undo the harm and gain people's trust again. Its moments like this missions that let the game shine through, that showdown with Oda was the most badass shit (especially with mantis blades equipped or a katana)

Personal headcanon: V stopped to watch Hanako singing tribute for her father. While on patrol, Oda saw V on the balcony, and without informing anyone, knew where to intercept him.

The atmosphere in this mission is so intense. Like I feel this is the culmination of more than just Yorinobu putting on a display of power and purposely putting his sister in danger. I feel like who ever is controlling the Peralez’ has something to do with the parade. Has something to do with this all. Like there is so much more to this story and I can’t wait for the dlc because apparently it’s going to be more of these kind of missions and story. Metal Gear inspired.

The Peralez are Pro-independent and anti corpo they are the perfect mayor for mr. Blue eyes. My theory is that Mr. Blue eyes agenda is to create another Ghost World (AI run city) probably creating the wealthiest and the most powerful Ghost World

I know this song, it’s an old Japanese children’s song. When I heard it in the game I had to stop and listen but also because I was so amazed about the little details in the game. Unfortunately I didn’t know V could stop and listen on the balcony but I stuck around and listened anyway.

Four playthroughs since release and i only learnt now while playing the 2.0 update that you can stop at a balcony on the way to the netrunner and watch Hanako sing. I can't believe I missed this song for all those years.
