This game like many others is one of those games on Series S that would play so much better with a 40FPS cap and 120hz.

what would you gain from 120hz when you have a 40 fps cap. also the game runs smoothly on 60 fps performance mode, you don't notice the framedrops even to low 50's if you don't have a frame limiter,

The Playstation 5 version, obviously. Much better graphics. Much better resolution. The Xbox Series S version is, unfortunately, bad.

Just buy a used copy of the PS4 version. You get a free PS5 upgrade if you have the PS4 disc

Is this on xbox one s? I dont see the update anywhere mine is still on 1.61 I have just discovered that it may be possible to play the latest update on series s you just need to either buy the digital copy or the correct version x/s I have not seen anything saying newer versions of the game do not function on xbox series x/s the only thing I've seen was the xbox one versions don't work so upgrading the version of your game should work (I do not mean updating I mean getting a newer copy of the game not the xbox one version this will most likely cause the same issues which I am currently having) if you own anything below xbox series x/s it will not work for you 😮‍💨
