I would love for this to become an anthology series where each season followed a different group of people in Night City. Maybe a prequel series with Maine as the main, hehehe, character as he comes up and builds his team. It would be sad knowing the outcome of his story though and it would remove a lot of the weight because you know he won't be hurt so not the best choice. I just want more of this world and the characters.

great idea..and it makes sense because the real star of cyberpunk is always Nightcity ...and the story is just how nightcity affects different ppl....you could do a max tac series.....a truma team series...a nomad series..

That he won't get hurt? He flat out tells David that he has seen a lot of his people die. Everyone looked at him like they were shocked he took David in after what he went through.

It's been a while an anime broke me down this much and got me that obsessed with it. Last time was End of Evangelion... Please make an AMV with Where Did Your Love Go! Edit: I also feel like this song is Lucy's last message to David, "Let You Down" last David's to her, and "Where Did Your Love Go?" for each other :( Insert songs in the anime were so ingeniously used. Give lots of details and underlying narration!

I used to watch anime years ago, don't watch it anymore, I only watched this because I like cyberpunk and everyone was saying it's good. Can't lie, it's really good. not as good as 2077 story, but it's a perfect pace and I love how they used 2077s OST with the anime, it fits very well.

what if, Adam decided to extract David's brain and turn him into a entity like him. To be a cyborg soldier. You know kind of like Johnny. Lucy keeps running into the arasaka net looking for David because she hear his voice in her head. Lucy gets schizophrenic about hearing David in the net realm and she goes searching for him. Arasaka notices that Lucy is messing with Arasakas net code to find Lucy so they send David the cyborg robot that's being controlled by Arasaka to kill Lucy. David kills Lucy and he glitches out into his conscious self after hearing " i..i..love you David.." and David screams in pain knowing that he killed his lover that was trying to save his life. And then season 3 David tries to get Revenge on Arasaka and fulfill his suicide mission and free himself from the program
