For those who don't know PPF is "paint protection film". It scratches much easier than paint, but for a car with paint it's a good idea to protect from rock chips. In this case it's a waste of money - there is no paint to get chipped. So actually you are paying lots of money to make your exterior more fragile. Don't expect most detailers to tell you that - there's not a lot of integrity in this industry.

It's not that big a deal if you look past the name PPF. Since they didn't go for a clear film, think of it as an extra durable wrap.
@zacharyramsli8002
@zacharyramsli8002 9 ай бұрын
It's less durable than bare metal on a normal car - never mind the Cybertruck steel. If you want to change the color - go for it. But don't let people trick you into thinking this will make the truck more durable.

why would you wrap a cyber truck? the very reason why you would buy a cybertruck is so you wouldn't have to wrap it or paint protect it. its tough on the outside you won't get stone chips like the model 3 and y

First off I don't understand why you're putting a rap on it that's the same color as the truck because the wrap is not going to protect the trucks panels more than the actual panels because the panels are very very tough and very scratch resistant That's number one number two if you're changing it or you're putting a rap on it because you're changing the color I mean I've seen a black one that's matte black and that thing looks fucking sweet but if you're just putting a wrap on it to to put a wrap on it and not change the color of it then you're basically just wasting money
