Can you get a front facing seat to fit the M base? I have one of these chairs and a base in both our cars. Would prefer to just buy a bigger seat than have to biy a seat and 2 bases again?

The linear side impact thing looks more like a direct transfer of forces device than a shock absorver. As long as it does not deform heavilly under load which seems not to do will simply transfer the energy directly to the baby seat, in fact the power transfer to the seat occurs prior to the whole impact prop hits the baby seat.

Can I wash all the parts of the car seats even the newborn inlay with has some hard parts?

Hi! Thanks for getting in touch. You can wash the inlay with the polystyrene inside. If you follow the instructions and wash it at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle, you will not destroy it. Let us know if you need anything else.

Have to agree on this one, it's really a PITA. It's really difficult to position it correctly so it locks into the base. Cannot recommend this seat + base at all
