Can it be folded with the seat in either direction?

Yes it can. Although facing away gives a more compact fold. Once it is folded the seat unit has 2 release buttons that makes removing the seat easy if lifting or storage is a problem

@@maryharrell8486 Hi, I've measured the real wheel on our showroom model. They measure approximately 28cm from the floor to the top of the wheel
