Can I use the adapter with the basket down?

The extra storage basket only works on the top adapters. So if you're using the basket, the child must sit on the lower adapters.

Do you need the adapters ? If so, Are they needed for each seat (if using two)? Do they come with the seats? .. we got two different answers from different dealers

The Gazelle S2 comes with 1 set of car seat adapters. If you are using it to connect 2 infant car seats you'll need to purchase a 2nd set of adapters. The carry cot and gazelle chair don't require any adapters, they will click on the top or bottom of the frame directly.
