Cybex Melio!
I bought this after MUCH discussion with Gabrielle Connelly about various options. (Yes, even our “friend convos” include stroller chat 😅🙈). We were also blown away by Cybex at Drool and I wanted in on it. I’m in love so far! Just a couple down falls.
Thoughts…
Check out this basket guys! It’s HUGE for a lightweight (only 12 lbs!) stroller. That’s a square Fawn bag (which is big) and I have plenty of room to spare. It fits in a way that it’s accessible without taking it out or moving baby.
The sun shade 🤩🤩🤩. There’s a kid in there! A 4yo kiddo. You can’t even see him. My Irish babies need this! ☀️
The push is wonderful. Took it for a coffee walk today. It has some suspension so it glides so smoothly and doesn’t have that “bumping” feeling that light weight strollers have. My 4yo was a major fan of pushing his baby brother. Bonus points for being so light that I was able to carry it up a few stairs and into the house AND keep baby napping for another hour 🤯🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Parent facing! Need I say more 😍. Also world facing 🌎
The mesh back is going to be nice and cool for daily poolside naps this summer. ☀️ The padded insert is equally nice for cool New England days 💨
The rain cover comes with it and is so well thought out. There’s even a “hole” where the recline button is. ☔️
Adjustable handle bar 👌🏻 for us short moms. Or tall ones.
Downside… it’s not really “multipostition”. The seat has two options. Up or lay flat. So I’m kind of let down by that because I definitely expected a minimum of 3 positions to be considered “multi”. I’m going to email Cybex and make sure it’s not my own operator error. It’s not a make or break necessarily for us but I do have a 9 week old so that awkward stage before he can sit independently might be rough. I’m curious how that does/doesn’t compare to their other lighter weight models like the Mios, Beezy, or Libelle. I need to take a look at those more closely again. I could see how this could potentially be a deal breaker for some people for sure. A middle position would be wonderful.
I also wish it had the new one pull tightening feature Cybex has. Maybe it’s on a newer version. I need to research it 🧐. Not a deal breaker for me but the ease would’ve been a wonderful addition.

The issue I have is you can’t strap a baby/toddler in after a certain age/weight because there isn’t really an adjustment on the straps
