Too much variation, increasing risk of severe errors. Music just irritation when trying to pay attention, needless. The best child restraint system is only as good as it is properly installed and the child is secured properly. This seat has so many variations that increase the risk of errors.

Hi. Is it possible to somehow get "into the bottom" of the chair? My kid have dropped a plastic ring into the space in the front, which then slipped into the bottom of the chair. And now the chair can only sit in 2 positions when its rear facing.

I'm really confused....when the seat is facing out of the car so I can put my toddler in it....to get it forward facing I have to spin her all the way round to the back and then to forward facing on a 270 degree spin. It wont allow me to just do a 90 degree spin to the front. What am I doing wrong??!!

Can the seat be used without the base? There doesnt seem to be a way to strap a seatbelt to it if you didn’t have a base in an emergency and had to use someone elses car for example

It is not possible to install the car seat with a seat belt. This car seat is not designed for every car. I installed in my nissan rouge and the base wasnt secured, it kept wiggling doesnt matter how much I tightened the seatbelt. And the carseat movement isn’t smooth as show the video.

After that, you have the option to turn the car seat forward-facing, but it is not necessary. Hi Karin! Both car seats are rear-facing seats designed for children from birth up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years) and comply with the requirements of the i-Size standard (UN R129). The biggest difference between both seats lies in their design language and (safety) features. The CYBEX Sirona Z i-Size is the newest edition of the Platinum car seats, follows a new design DNA and incorporates the latest safety research developments. In this context, it is equipped with magnetic belt holders instead of belt loops (as it is for the Sirona S i-Size). Together with the Cloud Z i-Size, the Sirona Z i-Size completes the first Platinum Z-Line Modular System of our car seats. Indicators on the Base confirm the correct installation. Both seats are equipped with the same restraint system. The child is secured with a five-point harness system. The integrated Driving Direction Control prevents children from traveling in the forward-facing position before 16 months of age and 76 cm of height. The clever rotation mechanism of the Sirona S i-Size and Sirona Z i-Size makes it easy to change between the rear-facing and forward-facing positions without having to take the seat out. Getting the child in and out is also easy as the seat can be turned to the side facing the door. Brilliant seat and base. However, one fact is so stupid and cruel: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYjdip-drbyle8U: if you de-install the base, the base is signing the entire time - for hours, days and weeks till battery is power is low - with cruel signal "peeep" that the sensor has no contact to the ground. No chance to switch it off or to fix it.

In order to stop it from beeping when out of the vehicle, you must put the load leg into the shortest position and fold it under the base so the end of the load leg goes into the slot that is in the bottom. @@cybexglobal Many thanks for your information. I see: service is as brilliant as seats. :-) However, there is no slot where you can fix anything. Its just a kind of niche. And it ejects the leg immediately after max 5 seconds by itself as it is not fixed - and/or the pressure of the leg too high. The result: "Peep"... and if I have a look at google for solving this problem: I am not alone. The only solution is gaffer tape.... for an quite expensive seat and base... Fingers crossed that the product manager will read it. The rest of the seat (and base) is quite nice.

@@johannhulox2180 When storing it, you have to put the base so that it is resting on top of the load leg and holding it in the slot. It was designed this way to make it easier to install, so that when you pick it up, the leg will fall down almost into position for installation.

It will not rest as your product manager thought it would rest. The car is shaking. It is normal. It is reality. And then?! Peep. Peep. Peep. And the trunk is sometimes occupied. You have to transport it vertical. And then?! Peep. Peep. Peep. If you transport it in your hand to put it in your house or whereever you like: Peep. Peep. Peep. I have got the requirement of a quite expensive base (and seat) that you are able to design a base where the leg will rest in the niche (by itself and not via the pressure of the base and only if the base is on top of the leg) or you can deactivate the function. Don't tell me that this bug is a feature.

Olá Ana! A cadeira só pode ser rodada para ser utilizada no sentido da marcha depois de desbloquear este tipo de utilização movendo o regulador no encosto (botão debaixo do tecido do encosto). Caso o seu modelo não possua este botão, terá de subir o apoio e cabeça antes de fazer a rotação. Pode consultar o manual para mais informações, pag 184 bit.ly/2Z4HMWH

When I bought this I was not aware that the swivel feature only works in the rear facing position. So that only lasted about 14 months and now it’s back to a regular car seat that wobbles more than others. I would not recommend this car seat to others.

No the swivel feature does not just work in rear facing. My daughter is 3 and still using this car seat. You are using it incorrectly. This is the best (and most expensive) car seat I have ever used and having 7 kids I have bought a lot! I will be using the same model for her baby sister when she out grows her infant car seat
