Should the three-point seat belt be used in the car even if there is a shield on the seat?

No , you use the seat shield and when the child too big for it is, you take it out and change to the seat belt

To remove the cover, unclip the press-studs and elastic bands holding it in place. Once the attachments are released, the cover can be washed at 30°C with a delicate wash program to prevent discoloration. Remember to wash the cover separately from other laundry and avoid drying it in the dryer or direct sunlight to maintain its fabric quality. For larger kids: use 3-point belt only? You use it on the video with the theter belt !

Hi, to change the Pallas to the 3-point vehicle belt configuration you only have to remove the impact shield. Please follow the instructions in the user guide on how to remove the impact shield and change the configuration. The child is then secured by the 3-point vehicle belt. You can convert the Pallas after your child exceeds a height of 100 cm. This is not mandatory however, and you can continue to use the Pallas car seat with the impact shield until your child reaches 105 cm in height. However it is obligatory to detach the impact shield once the child has reached 21 kg.

​@@cybexglobal i understand that. But when the child is 100+cm I can use 3-belt with or without: " top teter anchor" connected? You have it connected! And you simultaneously say "only 3 point belt"

Once the impact shield is removed and your child reaches 105 cm or 21 kg, the car seat is installed using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt and isofix or alternatively only the vehicle's 3-point seat belt. In this configuration, the top tether is no longer required.
