In 1981, Juan Atkins teamed up with fellow Washtenaw Community College student, Vietnam veteran Richard Davies to form CYBoTRON. By 1984-85, they had racked up some of the finest electronic records ever, produced in their home studio in Ypsilanti: tough, otherworldly yet warm cuts like "Clear," "R-9", and the song that launched the style, "Techno City."

Yes I used to Dance ti this in late 82...Living in tha D we got the first listen ! Thankfully Juan was working for WGPR more exclusively the Electrifying Mojo so this, Alleys of your mind and basically the whole Enter Album got played on his show

Remember how long Mojo would make us wait to find out who made a new cut he was debuting? It took us a week to find out Visage made Frequency 7. Come to think of it, DAMN! I'm old, too.....LoL And, yes, this is the original version of Clear.

The Original Version .. Detroit danced off of this in 1983... Peace to the Funkateeers ,X Men , Executioners and TIME Dancers. Not Rare at all...This version is more Bass heavy ,while the remix is more beat oriented
