Stopped at same stamp kiosk/restaurant on 6:45. Ordered dumplings (delicious) and a coffee (mocha?) and then someone (or the owner) bought me Korean ramen on top of that. Was so nice, But I was embarrassed that I couldn't finish it. Doing so I wouldn't be able to cycle to my next stop. I went backwards from Seoul to Busan. The Bicycle infrastructure in South Korea is amazing. Logistics easy with Korean combini everywhere.

Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, I find Korean people very generous. Glad you found the bicycle infrastructure in Korea excellent as well!

This will be the first bike path you will try, so I hope you completed it in good health.

Yes, I hope to complete the other bike paths in Korea in the future. Have you cycled any of them?

how do you record when youre on the bike do you just have a selfie stick?
@CyclingAlaska Жыл бұрын
There are lots of different ways to record on the bike. For this video I used a selfie stick. It's the easiest and most versatile way for me to capture while riding on roads. (If you're riding a mountain bike in the woods for example you need to attach the camera to your bike or your body. Here's an example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWHWg5yHoa1lfdU )

Do you have .gpx files and itinerary posted somewhere? Interested in the hotels that yoy stayed in as well.

Those Korean convenience store "meals" may appear healthy and somewhat less processed than Western quick-and-easy snacks, but there are a lot of additives in them... Sure it's easy, but its way better to get way fresher things that are not made to sit on shelves like twinkies.

Thanks for your insight. You are right, there are plenty of fresh, whole food options in Korea. Korean cuisine is rich in fresh vegetables, grains, meats, and fish. Occasionally it is convenient to stop by a convenience store while cycling and pick something to go. The options with rice are usually the healthiest and most caloric in my opinion.
