Looks like Paul Sr. is taking on another failed business endeavor. Might draw business for the first year or two, but will end up the same as his shop and restaurant in NY.
@3DPeter3 жыл бұрын
T hreason why companies bought a 70k theme bike from occ is because of the free publicity on tv, because there's no way you can advertise your company for an entire hour for 70k, so that was a steal for all those companies. But now the tv show is over, not a single company is buying anything from them and that's the reason they went broke, and moving to this new location won't help a thing, because a few locals will pay a visit because it's new and as soon the locals seen it, then it wil go broke again. Also they got payed 50k per episode, so they thought that it would go on forever and the money was spend harder than it came in, and they didn't save a penny for a rainy day, because they thought that they would be on tv forever and that turned out completely different. Even Vinnie and cody thought that they would get thier own show but that didn't happen, so they went broke even before they officialy opened ther shop, and that's why vinnie and later cody started to work for paul junior, and i don't know how he's dong these days but i'm sure the busines is not running that good, and i woulnt be supprised when he fired vinnie and cody because there are no companies that buy theme bikes anymore. So the frase "out of sight out of mind" is what happend to them, and let's hope that new bike or car shops who get an oportunity to become famous on tv, take a lesson from the teutels, and save their money instead of growing bigger and bigger, because like everything in life, nothing last forever, even fame and fortune!

I have to say I noticed right away everything was about Paul Sr. when Paul Sr. didn't design any of those Iconic Bikes they were showing. But they didn't mention anything about Paul Jr. and He's the one who should get Credit for those bikes like the Fire Bike, Jet Bike, Comanche Bike, Fallen Hero's Bike, Spiderman Bike, Snap on Tools Bike, Liberty Bike, and the List goes on and on and on. Not only did He design those Bikes, He also Custom fabricated a lot of the Custom Parts that went on the Bikes. And then Paul Jr., Vinny and later on Rick would Assemble the Bikes many times Late into the night and early into the Morning 2, 3 even 4 o'clock into the Morning when Daddy Paul had been gone Home since 4-5 that afternoon and Sleeping cozy in His Bed. Of Course when he was there He would come out of the Office to Pick a Fight with Jr. or Yell and scream about getting the Bike done, usually on His way out to the Gym or the Dentist or some other Mickey Mouse B.S. Paul Sr. didn't design or build anything. Even after Paul Jr. was gone they brought in that Kid Jason who designed every thing on the Computer. And 99% of the bikes they built really Sucked in my Opinion. Paul Jr Originally would sketch a design out on Paper and then He would go from there, Designing as He went. the same way other custom Builders did like Jessie James, Indian Larry, Ed Roth Those guys Built Bikes from the plan in their Heads. Those are and were Serious Designer/Builders. Even the pictures on the wall they showed had removed Paul Jr. from the Picture. A lot of those Pictures I know Jr was in them Originally. I think Paul Sr. is better Known for building Metal fences and structural steel for Buildings than Motorcycles. If it Hadn't been for Paul Jr. OCC would have never Got off the Ground, Let alone be as well Known as they were.

Many OCC bikes are absurd unrideable relics whose owners are embarrassed to be seen on them. The bike commissioned for the Tonight Show was presented to Jay Leno on the show as a gift. Jay looked at it like a fresh turd, which it was. With Paul senior pleading with him to sit on it, Jay absolutely refused. It was quietly returned to OCC after the show. It was clear after the "firetruck" bike and the "baseball" bike where OCC was going. Put a fork in this, like the "hotdog" bike, it's done.

They no longer remember who I am, or that they're still in their home. They live a horrible existence filled with sleeplessness, confusion, and mood swings. It's a "zero" quality of life that I'd wish on nobody because of what that disease does. As a son, and having heard the same sentiments from my parents some while back, those are two years longed for that we won't get back. Theme bikes are gay. Everything they built was the same. Same frame, same rake, same forks. They just welded little doo-dads on it. And you're right they're not even rideable. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks they're junk.

@@cycledrag I recently visited the OCC Roadhouse in FL. I was very much disappointed. It's nothing more than a restaurant with choppers and memorabilia on display. I don't know why but I expected much more. And the food not so hot and very much overpriced like everything in the gift shop. Walking through the Harley dealer next door is what made my day.
