i know a guy this year that didnt make his new tire appt and left anyway... his tires developed bumps and eventually both went flat on the road.. plus he lost his unsecured cell phone on road in bumpy area of road.. no phone and two flats ... yikes. he made it tho , new phone and tires(commanders) .. hopefully made it home from sturgis to southern ill.

Always love this kind of content, to see how my prep checklist of items compares to others taking long trips. Love your checklist. Even cleaning the bike before you leave, I actually do as well. Have even drug a wet towel out early in the morning to wipe off excess road grime, in hopes of having left each morning with a relatively clean shiny bike. I know you rock the tour pack now, but when you traveled with a sissy bar, what was the height you used to best strap down bags to?

Do you think you could do a vid of all of your techy hardware - GoPro's and your DJI and so forth? If you've already done it - just point me in the right direction. I'm in the UK by the way 👍🇬🇧

I like the orange locktite it's still removable but seems to hold up to the vibration better than the blue. Almost seems like a mix between the red and blue. Check it out.👊

Thanks John, I just bought a new too me bike a week ago. I'm getting it ready for a week+ long ride in upstate NY and New England(maybe I'll run into you guys when I get over to ME). I always wash and polish before a tour... Its a great way to go over the bike in detail before a trip....Plus we all know the bike just runs better when cleaned 😎
