I'm unable to explain why, but yes, oh the sunflowers. I've seen sunflowers fields plenty of times but for some reason the shot at 28:37 caught me off guard. Made me tear up for no apparent reason. Maybe the way it portrayed the simplicity of life and the beauty of it all. All the stress we have in our normal everyday lifes makes us forget sometimes that being happy shouldn't be that complicated after all...

I did the same as you in this video, same kind of panniers, slept under the stars, saw great things and met great people, and all with the power of legs! Now I'm married and a father, so it's good to see your video with my wife and start to think, hmm 🤔 maybe time to dust off the panniers again and take the family this time👍

The year was 2012, I rode through, Cyprus, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Monaco and France. The longest I cycled in one day was in France, 183km. The whole trip was 5,500kms or 3,300mls. I was still just at the age of 42 yrs. Wow what an adventure! I'm 54yrs now. I have since owned to boats, but my second is going to take me around the world! Since you have experienced a lot and met many people on your journey, can you tell if you think that’d be safe for a woman to go an a solo bike trip like that? This is so beautiful! I am halfway through your film and I realise how much I admire your relationship with yourself. I've been travelling alone, too, for 10 months, but a lot of the time I spend with anxiety, thinking "Am I doing the right thing?" "Did I book the right thing?" "Did I spend too much?" or when I'd be on the ferry, for example, I would be afraid going on deck because a part of me would be afraid someone would tell me that I wasn't allowed there, or that I would look stupid half of the time of my trip being by myself in restaurants, bars and places. My trip will continue in a few, and I would LOVE to adopt your comfort with yourself and your relationship to the world with so much enthusiasm, trust and vitality! You are the best.

Repent of sin and Trust in Jesus! John 14:6 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Matthew 7:13-23 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

This is a masterpiece! For those who have done it before, will know how difficult it is to film a trip like this. You did not just done it, but done it like with a team! The perfect framing, the consistent colours across different cameras. I appreciate the sound the best! On top of this, the energy of the film actually matched your personality! Best part is your personality and energy makes this adventure so enjoyable to watch! Thank you for doing this!

Thank you for sharing your adventures, your willingness to explore and meet new people and for taking us along. I've only been to England (Devon & Cornwall) & Paris, after spending 3 months on the Silver Coast of Portugal (which I did explore)... [Senti emoção e saudade ao passar por Nazaré e São Martinho]... I enjoyed exploring those areas as well... as you were getting closer to where I spent the best 3 months of my life. (Atouguia da Baleia - Peniche). Obrigada Bernardo

At 4:23 you get out of a tent. You show your bike unsecured, and your pannier bags unsecured too. You are carrying apparently £8k+ worth of filming gear + that bike is worth £1.2k. Did you REALLY sleep in a tent EVERY night? If so where because wild camping in the UK is illegal AND how did you secure your bike and belongings each night?!

Muito bem feito Bernardo! Obrigado! My 1st long bike ride was 7,500km from the Pacific coast of Oregon to the Atlantic coast of Massachusetts in the USA. Then I pedaled 8,000km around 9 countries in Europe, going as far north as Nordkapp. Then I pedaled 30,000km from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, passing through Brazil on the way where I learned Portuguese. You are a talented film maker, who is full of a beautiful Joie de vivre, and I salute you! The most amazing part of my around-the-world bike ride was all of the kind, loving, generous people I met along the way. I "almost" died more than once during the trip, but that is part of what makes an adventure worth doing. Tudo Bem Cara! I hope u go on to do another bike ride soon.

Small tip for people who are on a road trip in France : you can almost always find fresh drinkable and free water in inner city cemetaries, but more rarely when the cemetary is apart from the (generally small) town. And in small villages you can also find free toilets generally not far away from the church.

Dude, amazing video. Last year I cycled from the middle of the Netherlands all the way to Nice (South of France) 1600KM. And this video felt really similar. All the little villages that you pass by, the people you meet. And the slower phase of traveling felt relaxing. I probably gonna do it again but then for a longer period of time (3 months to half a year). Beautiful video and the cinematography was on point 👌😌
