Just got the long sleeve version (not light) and seems to be the perfect winter jersey. Would you say yours would be ok for spring/summer or too warm for summer? Cheers, great review

It's too warm for a hot day but ideal if you're riding in the mountains in summer (eg Alps, Pyrenees, Dolomites, etc) and the weather cools as you climb higher.

Julian Hutchings That’s great thanks. I’ve got a couple of Rapha classic jerseys. May just stick with them for the warmer weather. Do prefer the fit of my perfetto. The pockets are much better positioned

MaChemGuy: If I may ask....what is your chest, height & waist size please, & is it a "race-fit" on you or is it loose? Castelli sizing seems to be quite the thing to look out for, hence my question on the Perfetto Long Sleeve. I'm 170cms/ 38in Chest/ 35.5inch waist and am unsure which size to go for.

As a natural XL what damn size do I buy the Castelli Perfetto in? Thinking of the zip off sleeve version and the shirt sleeve light.

I wear XXXL. I'm 6 foot, about 82kgs, if that helps. I tried XXL and found it too tight.

@@JulianHutchings I am same specs and wear XL. The back angle shows a lot of loose extra fabric which def seems like your in one or 2 sizes larger than you should based on how a Rosso Corsa race piece is designed to fit. Everyone has thier personal preferences but your not getting the total benefits as designed. Most enthusiast riders do wear jerseys a size or two larger than a road jersey is meant to fit, so not uncommon. Rosso Corsa pieces are meant to feel too tight while standing in order for it to do its job sweat wicking when in riding position and also for aero purposed since its technically a race design line for Castelli. Nice review however. Good info.

Loverly jacket, but I just don’t get that it has no arms. If it had removable sleeves I can see the use of this jacket. But why have a windproof jacket with no arms that you have to use arm warmers for? Why not just get a windproof gilet with arm warmers? I think this is just me, but I really don’t get the use for this garment. 🤔😐

It’s not a jacket, it’s a jersey. And they do a version with removable sleeves if that’s your bag. I sometimes wear it with a long sleeved base layer.
