Sawat dii khrap! If I am there, I'll gladly bike for that mountain vista & that great cup of freshly-brewed black coffee! I adore Arabica coffee! When roasted light to medium, I love that fruity, citrusy flavor! Lots'a love, cheers, & Mabuhay, from tropical Philippines! #RideOn #KeepBiking

The top part is my favorite. Cleaner air and less traffic. From the 3 way can go north very far but more suitable for MTB/Gravel bikes and narrow.

Agree, Ed! The top part is a little paradise :) We've only done the downhill hiking, can't wait to get a gravel bike :)

Great video! I visited Chiang Mai some weeks ago and immediately regreted not bringing my bike with me when i saw Doi Suthep. Your video is really inspring and I can't wait to plan my next cycling trip in Chiang Mai.

Good video, being a Chiang Rai kinda guy I thought there was no need to go up Doi Suthep again but now I know there are some great roads above the temple. But Luis, come on, tell the truth. You're Contador's little brother, right?
@CyclingChiangMai Жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, past Suthep temple and the tourist it is a great climb, 19km uphill at 6.5% in total, one hour 20 minutes effort! Alberto and I are from the same town lol

Good vid guys. What's the name of the coffee shop? And is that a loop back to CM, or a there and back?
@CyclingChiangMai Жыл бұрын
Thanks! 🙏🏻 no idea what the coffee shop name is but it’s the first one upon arriving to the village from Chiang Mai. It is an out and back route, no loop :(

What is the size of your 1. biggest rear cog, 2. smallest chainring and 3. wheel/tire? I am wanting to know the bottom end of your gear range for climbing.

@@CyclingChiangMai Thanks. The figures provided mean that you have 27 gear-inches at the bottom end of your gearing range. Thanks. Any vids on cycling to and around Chiang Rai?
