We grew up not too far from Rome. Our dad took us to the opening of Fort Stanwix in 1976.

Really enjoyed your video. My Jari died on the C&O this year when a chain stay broke. I also have the 21 horsey hundred jersey😊 We probably crossed paths.

Well done on your video! It brings back great memories as I too rode the entire length from Buffalo to Albany. Also, I was only two tents away from you in the Comfy Campers tent city, so I was in familiar territory! This was a marvelous ride, incredibly historical, with wonderful biker buddies and such supportive and friendly people in the pass-through and overnight towns. Truly a memorable experience!

We loved the experience. We're thinking of going back -- but then we want to see other states too. This is so well done -- hard decision!

Great video, we plan to ride this next year. Stone dust? Gravel? Poor Larry! Josh, I feel sorry for the guy!

Pretty cool. We stayed along the trail in Holley, NY last week. Saw lots of bikers.

Great video! I was on this ride also this year. Met lots of great people. Definitely had its ups and downs with the weather and such but what an unforgettable experience. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe we'll meet on the trail someday. I'm thinking that I would like to do it again!

When is this group ride scheduled each year(dates)? I plan to this ride next year (starting in Kansas City MO and all on bike paths) but don't want to be in the crowds! I think it is great you all got together but I just want a little more solitude.. Great video. . I rode the canal solo in mid 90's. It has changed (improved) a lot. Very few riders then. To one boomer from another, happy trails! Great video. Good to see people happy!🌐

There were about 600 of us -- but it's amazing how we spread out so fast. Not much time riding in big groups. It's July 12-20 in 2025. www.ptny.org/cycle-the-erie-canal/annual-bike-tour

Next year's ride is July 12-20. Even though there were so many of us, we got spread out pretty quickly!
