fun fact in Belgium (really only in the city of Ghent and in West Flanders, tbh) we use the word for fast (snel) when we mean "attractive". Particularly when talking about women.

Moses, thank you for your videos. I hope Nairobi will get such infrastructure one day, hopefully in our lifetime! Hehe!! I like sharing your videos on Skyscrapercity. You asked what the white lights are for at 2:44. I didn't see anyone else answer. Those would be the signals for the electric tram. The horizontal line means stop, vertical means go. :-) Keep up the good work brother! I'm also hoping that the Kenyan riders will send a team of cyclists to TDF in the near future.

I think the white vertical light at 2:53 means you or the tram are clear to go straight ahead.

Love to see it! The cycling structures in these countries are simple and effective. The citizens also respect cyclists alot more because they themselves are cyclists!

By the way you are a cycling tourist or you went for work? If not either it's both. I think by now you know Belgium even than the citizen themselves! I now have a sense of what it means for a country to be developed. Wow! Very elite trip this one you are in.

Hehe! Both Paul. Thank you for watching. I make a point of touring and preferably by bicycle at every opportunity I get and pour them here but my work life remains private for now 😊

Hi! Thank you very much for this video! I will travel to Leuven in September to study and I'd love to do this route 🙂 I wanted to ask you a few things: first, is it safe to do this route with a road bike? or it could be better if I use a mountain bike? also, do you know if I can do this route in any season? is there a month where its safer to do it? Thank you very much again, greetings from Peru :D

How does the rain taste bro 😂😂 unfortunately the rain has caused havoc in Germany the Netherlands and some part of Belgium I believe. Germany was hit hard. 80 people are reported dead… On a positive note strava leaderboard? Impressive 🤙🏿😂👏🏿

I saw that. Unbelievable. I didn't realise how rarely such rains hit these parts and didn't take it as seriously at first. Waah! I'm in Paris at the moment. TDF content is going to hit soon.

@@MosesAmira I hope you took your bike along to measure your speed with pros😜😅. Enjoy the TdF finale👍🏿 It’s one hell of a spectacle

Unfort I didn't 🤦🏾♂️. I wish I did. I wasn't sure when I wanted to travel whether it would be okay to board on the thalys train to Paris without carrying my entire bike bag as well.

True Reuben. Those were very grim things 🤦🏾♂️. I like to hope that generation has passed and the current one is atoning somehow. Very complex stuff 😰

Moses...the subtitles in white characters are challenging and not always legible..what other color would provide a better contrast?

Pole. Suggest? They're only ever translations for what is in the video already so it can be okay to skip them :-)
