I started to see results for the very first time following your big man on campus videos on bodybuilding.com and I have helped people in my life get healthier on the same principle. Here you are pushing your limits with the triathlon while keeping it classy. Steve Cook's KZbin uploads are one of my favorite TV shows and I hope to keep seeing it for another 20 years. Thanks for all the inspiration.

I did Triathlon for over a year and really struggled to train for all the disciplines and hit the gym, takes a lot of energy! Plus if you want to maintain some size you also have to increase calories and wow...it becomes a challenge! Completely in awe of you Steve, wish you all the best with it! True inspiration

Semi-dry’s are supposed to be tight. You will not feel the water at all. Depending on when you do it you may get alil warm during your swim if the water and air is not quite cold enough yet.

Advice from a professional road cyclist in Switzerland, make sure to drink a shit ton. And best consume a protein carbohydrates drink, I used to use with my team a brand called High5, their 4:1 ratio of carbohydrates to protein is ideal... I’m glad you enjoyed it! Cycling really is addicting, soon you’ll be doing 100 mile rides😉
@PQR5CHE6 жыл бұрын
Steve, I had the same goals. Used to lift weights every day, but I wanted to do a Ironman. So I just signed up for a Ironman 70.3 and started training. After I finished that, I signed up for a Full Ironman. I am 6ft, weight 200lb. So with my weight I was in no way gonna be fast, but I did finish! 14hrs! It was the best experience of my life. And have bragging rights for the rest of my life now... haha.

Some tips. Pasta. Eat pasta before a long ride. Train slow, 20 miles for first ride is way too much. Should have stuck with like 5, 5 for a week worth. Then 10 for a week worth then 20, for 2 weeks then 30, then you can go for bigger numbers. Cycling takes time. If you rush, you will crash hard, your legs will cramp and you will bonk fast. Another tip is to drink powerade or any electrolyte drink during a long ride or an intense one like you will be doing. But this is all advice, do whatever the effff you wanna do...

The Solace he got is legit, more comfortable position and better for the rough roads around Southern Utah. Cush man, cush.

The Scott Foil has been proven to be good for the rough roads as well as it’s the only Aero bike to ever win Paris Roubix. I do agree with you that the Solace is legit. The way Steve is built though I would recommend a Scott Foil for him.
