Absolutely smashed it Ed - all the planning, focus and effort has paid off and congrats on reaching your goal. Honest, insightful and inspiring interview, however I felt one or two of your comments were lost on the interviewer; maybe if he had watched your last 20 or so videos he would fully get it ie. the detailed planning, focus, effort, commitment and execution was the result of total commitment and focus rather than winning by an impressive margin. I think you are right in that satisfaction in executing YOUR strategy as you planned is equally rewarding to winning the title. Hill climbs are Races of Truth. Bicycles are incredibly efficient machines on the flats. That is an element of their popularity, that any person can make a bicycle go very fast on flat ground. On inclines, gravity takes over. Gut check.
