Cycling solo around Hainan island, China/海南环岛骑行

In July 2020 I set off from Haikou to cycle around Hainan island. I cycled from Haikou to Sanya via the east coast and Sanya back to Haikou via the west coast. Total distance was approximately 750 km . Temperatures and humidity were very high because it was in the middle of summer so I had to set off very early every morning. There is a beautiful coastline and I swam almost every day. The island is also cycling friendly with good roads, cycle lanes, and cycling friendly hostels. People were friendly and prices were cheap.
