That rings a bell, I was wondering who it was. I tend to drive out these days to places that put me right onto the roads that can take an hour and half or so to ride to, which means you can explore more placers and not worry about getting back home. It was nice to do a relatively local ride on this day.

Great ride again Daz and awesome video. All of those country roads look amazing to ride on coupled with that scenery!! Your videos keep getting better and I always look forward to them. It's good you tell the story rather than just cycling along and playing some music in the background.

@cdwilson12 Жыл бұрын
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures definitely!! Even my wife said when I had one of your other videos on the TV she said "does he cycle back for his camera" you were cycling uphill at the time and I said yes he's always doing it. It does add an extra element to your videos though and even on the hardest hundred you were doing the cycle-by's even on a route as tough as that.
@MrDazP1adv3ntures Жыл бұрын
The flyby shots are great for adding another perspective to the ride and can only really be done when I ride solo. Most cyclists don't have the patience to hang around and to keep stopping and starting, which is fair enough. Or like in the past I have put a massive effort in to get ahead of the guys on the group rides to make the shots work. It can get interesting when you take 3 cameras out on a ride too. This can be a chest harness for cam 1, a seatpost clamp for cam 2 and a mini tripod cam for the flyby shots. Putting then together on a timeline with no script written down can become a proper brain teaser. The audio on the current Gopro is basically crap but it's image stabilisation is very good. I've tried to use a separate audio recorder which does work but there is a lot of faffing to turn it on and then off and to tell yourself on the mic what the scene is.. You end up with harnesses and wires and devices stuffed all over the place, and you are in lycra 🤔
