Great video again Daz. It seems you are mastering the editing and narration as your videos seem to keep getting better and better. Your channel imo is the best cycling one on KZbin as you just focus on the enjoyment of the ride, tell the story rather than focusing on training plans and Strava data.

That's a really great bit of feedback and I am greatful for your comments, first and foremost , thank you 👏 The editing takes me ages to put a video together and I don't claim a penny from what I do either. I have watched several other cycling related channels who are at " influencer " levels and receive tens of thousands of views and subscriptions and I often wonder how they have become so big. I don't think the KZbin algorithms offer a fair opportunity to all channels. Once again , thanks for your great comments Cwil and take care.... MrDazP1.

Hello Brian, I recall driving down these roads before the national lockdown in March 2020 and saw no cars for 30 miles . Great driving and cycling roads for sure.

I really enjoy cycling around them parts Di as I do in the Dales and the Lakes. They are all special places. We spoke to a cafe owner in Malham the other week and she said that they don't do Black puddings because there's not enough people requesting them 😥 Mike is a secret Victoria sponge lover you know, which might feature on some videos ...

New hat Daz? I got a Giro myself after I cracked my other lid when I came off a few months ago. Love North Wales, considering how close I live to it, I definitely need to get out there more next year! Great Yorkshire Sportive for me in a few weeks, starts in York and heads towards Castle Howard’s through to near Scarborough on the east coast before heading back. That way I’ll have the Lancashire and Yorkshire sportive medals to add to the collection. 😎
@MrDazP1adv3ntures2 жыл бұрын
Hello John, a few points raised there. The new hat is nice and comfy but I got to match the socks lol. Best of luck with the sportive, I will Check it out on the internet. As for Wales, it's just a fab place to visit as I am sure you are aware. It felt a bit cold early doors on the bike today too, I guess Autumn is creeping upon us now.

Another great video Daz. 👍🏻 I’ve just come back from a week in Wales with the family having done some cycling and fishing on Anglesey. It would be great if you and Mike could have a trip up my way in Northumberland some time. Some great country roads and cafes around here. 🚴 ☕️🍰

Thanks Sam, I need to keep looking for new places to ride. I went mountain biking a few years ago up at Kielder forest and also I would have to research if there were any rivers up that way which were gold bearing and kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

You can't beat Anglesey for cycling either.

Hello Daz, long time since I hitched a ride, have been out of commission since having covid a year ago, it’s left me shattered and has destroyed my immune system, I guess I was lucky to survive, catching up with you on your video is wonderful, you look a picture of health I’m quite envious, to think fifty years ago I could have out raced you 😅 only kidding! but I did spend many days speeding around the Derby’s Peak District on my Raleigh Racer, little to no cars in those days, amazing memories, take care, I’ll catch up with you in the spring 🤞
@MrDazP1adv3ntures Жыл бұрын
Hi Bernice, I am so sorry to hear such news but the fact that you are still here tells me that you have some real inner resolve. Covid has no place here so good on you. We just need to get through the next couple of months and then our spirits will be lifted as spring approaches. I could hear the birds singing yesterday which is always a nice thing. I have come across a nice Raleigh from the late 80*s early 1990's . It's a 10 speed Raleigh Pioneer It has kept me busy throughout this month as I have stripped it down to every conceivable part . It has been quite a rewarding project and to give an old bike some new life has given me some focus away from the humdrum of daily work and life. Take care Bernice. Kind Regards Darren..👍

@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Hi again, Yes I’m a tough old cookie, and refuse to give up, my inner strength came in handy last week when I made the mistake of having an endoscopy without any sedation, I knew I couldn’t have anaesthetic because of my allergies, but I was offered sedation at the last minute, but couldn’t make a snap decision had I realised it was a trainee doing the procedure I sure would have, it was the most horrendous experience I have ever encountered! Plus it was my worst nightmare come true, anyway it’s nice to hear you have been giving an old Raleigh a new lease of life, you must be very clever to take on the challenge, but I think you will know bikes inside out, I acquired my Raleigh age fifteen it was gifted to me by my brother-in-law as it was always missing when he needed it! 😂😇😊thanks for your reply Darren, Best wishes Bernice.

Sometimes a change is as good as a rest James and the fortnight off will have done you good. It's always a great feeling to build the fitness back up and I'm sure you will get there. Another good video Daz, i film all my big bike rides but when i watch the footage back they are not that interesting with just the footage, you have a way of narrating that's full of information and that keeps it interesting. Will look forward to the next one ! P . s i recently bought a bar end wing mirror for my drop bars its about the size of a 2 pence slightly larger and goes into the bar end, you can hardly tell its there. Its a handy piece of kit id recommend checking them out.

Thank you Jonathan . The editing seems to take me ages these days in oder to be able to tell the story and to keep the videos flowing. I do enjoy this side of the cycling hobby too and for me it's just about sharing the day for others to watch with as much information as possible for them to hopefully go on and visit these places.
