I don't know if they have an app for Apple, but on Android there's an app called "Pro Bike Garage". You link it to your Strava account and it pulls in all the bikes that you have in your Strava account. Then you can go in and add individual components to your bikes and how many miles/hours/whatever you have on each of them. When you go for a ride and record it in Strava, it will add the miles and time to each of that bike's components for the bike you picked for the ride in Strava and alert you when it's time to maintain something on your bike. I.E. yesterday it let me know it was time to check the air pressure in my air shock. It's also letting me know that it's time to change my brake pads, and when I checked yesterday they are actually pretty close to needing to be changed. I'll probably change them this week. One last thing - I pay for Veloviewer. I think it's absolutely fantastic to look at all the data in so many ways. I'm sure whoever came up with that spent a lot of time on it. I think ~$15 a year to keep the website going is a small price to pay for what I get out of it.

I believe Strava wants to be the "Apple of Tracking Apps" and tries to keep things simple. VeloViewer sure does the job for all the enthusiasts out there to give them more insight.

That's fair, but they are leaving money on the table with that approach. As a company that's struggling for profitability, they might want to reevaluate that. Making search work would be a great first step :). Personally, I was happy to give then $25 a year to get live segments, but the current offering just isn't compelling to me at $60. That said, I am an Android user, so that could explain some things...
