cycloidal reducer for NEMA17

Hello, I am very impressed by the compactness of your reducer. I have several questions : what are the diameter and the length of the five "shaft" ? what would be the best for printing, abs, nylon ? what about the backlash ? what about the torque ? what about the deterioration after several hours of use ? any lubrification needed ? Hello @philpavans3118 - five shaft are 2.5 x 20mm (www.aliexpress.com/item/32967805012.html) - I only print with PLA - a little backlash - it run ok with a little grease in cycloidal disc. The reductor is only an concept test, it still without use. For better torque, I glued the little piece for eccentric bearing to the motor shaft. Thanks for your interest.

Buenas, hablo en español porque deduzco que eres también español, gran trabajo el que has hecho con este reductor, estaba buscando para mis trabajos de robótica un componente compacto y fiable como este, ya lo estoy imprimiendo para probarlo y ver si tiene algo de backlash que me atrevo a decir que mínimo o nada. Has hecho pruebas , a 12 voltios de que par logra ejercer este kit?, muchas gracias.

Hola Alberto, agradezco tu interés. No he hecho pruebas con el reductor, realmente lo hice sólo como una "prueba de concepto" para evaluar la posibilidad de hacer un reductor para un motor de AC de 700w, pero es un proyecto que tengo aparcado. Suerte con tus proyectos.

Hi Mechatronic. In www.sacamantecas.es/zona_friqui/reductores/cicloidal_nema17 is described the reductor. The source code is in github.com/sacamantecas/OpenSCAD/tree/master/reductor_nema17 I just uploaded the .STL file for print all pieces. Thanks for you interest.
