Cyclone - The Call Of Steel

Cyclone was in fact very well known in the Belgian metalscene those days...They did many gigs:the biggest were as support act on the Metallica gig in Brussels,Belgium during the "Master of puppets" tour and as support for Slayer in Belgium during their "Reign in blood" tour...I was there!Therefore and ofcourse because of the 2 great albums they made(very hard to find),Cyclone is still considerd as the best Belgian metal band ever!

I saw them maybe 30 or 40 times and every time was better than the last time! Cyclone prevailed in the 80s!

Hello there, this is CYLONE, the legendary thrashmetalband from Belgium, Europe. Their 1st album, Brutal Destruction, was released mid '80's. Their 2nd album, Inferior to None, was realeased early 90's. They opened for Metallica, Slayer, Overkill, Anthrax, ... Did a few European tours with Sadus and with Blessed Death. They really kicked ass! Unfortunately, the recordcompany went broke... and the story ended. NOT. Mid 2019, Cyclone was reformed and did some gigs. They were planned for the festivals... and then there was Corona. 2021 will be the new start of Cyclone. The Best thrashmetalband Belgium has ever known. Oh yes, their singer ? Guido Gevels

One of my favorite bands, I have an old Demo of them from the 80's somewere I have to locate. I have the CD of this album. The Demo is a lot heavier than the album. Great band.

Exactly. I remember reading about this band on one of the metal mags in the 80's. It wae a feature article. They were supposed to be Belgium's answer to Metallica. Seems like back then every thrash metal band seemed to be compared to Metallica which doesn't make sense now. Like how Annihilator was Canada's answer to Metallica or Destruction was Germany's answer to Metallica, Powermad was Minnesota's answer to Metallica. The whole thing was ridiculously redundant & downright silly. Great album.
