Ive had the cuve for a year now, it is fantastic. I just bought the pro to have a built in guage. The fast charging is great, the nattery stayed charged for well over a month once between rides. These are better at seating tires than charge pumps in my experience. The other advantage is the heat will warm up the valve on tubeless and melt the sealant if its gunking it up. This works great with clogs. Highly recommend this product, great video. Get the one with guage.

Having tried one of these I wasn't overwhelmed .... my Topeak Road Morph (in effect a mini track pump) was much quicker to 100psi with not a lot effort. To me it's a solution looking for a problem like the Cyclaire pull cord pump from about 10 years ago that didn't catch on.

Yes but that pump doesn’t fit in a jersey pocket!

It fits behind a bottle cage in the clip supplied.

to me the point is I can grab any bike I have (and they all bleed some PSI over the days) and quickly set them back to accurate ride pressure super super fast. of course a big hand or floor pump 'can do more' but for a quick topoff and ride, and take along...nothing compares.

I’ve seen these a couple of weeks ago. Seem like a good idea…though they are a tad on the pricey side.

Great video, thanks for the introduction to these. Don't you think this will be another thing that ends up landfill when the batteries start deteriorating in a few years?

do wonder what's wrong with a normal pump, just opening yourself up to issues if you haven't charged it in a while or it gets left in damp conditions(?)

Great round up on those, mate. Was thinking of getting one myself, wasn't aware, that one with the gauge is available. My question, for how long would these hold the battery without being in use? I mean, would you charge it each time when going out, or would it hold the charge for a while stored in the bag? Cheers

The battery last weeks if not being used! seeing as the new models have a battery indicator built in it’s easy to switch it one and check the charge level before you go out!

i'd also worry about the cold weather performance of this. it's one thing in a 15 ˚C garage, but out riding in freezing cold with sweat in the pocket further conducting heat out of the battery? how is your winter puncture repair experience with this? you've been using the small one for a year
@FreeToCycle9 ай бұрын
Never had a problem with using it in the cold weather!

How accurate do you think the tyre pressure gauge is (I guess if it reads high or low you can make an adjustment to the target pressure just as long as it is consistent) ?
@serum-1147 ай бұрын
fwiw it is the same pressure my topeak d2 smartgauge shows, so it's been consistent for me (cycplus as2 pro)
