In 3d, it doesn’t look much worse than hd (with the slider all the way down even) due to the double pixel count. I finished it two days ago. Without 3d however it does not look great.

Still should have been a bundled package with 1+2 HD but it’s still fun to play with polished visuals and gameplay

its crazy , you still can enjoy the game at 240p on 3DS.. resolution just cherry on top if the game already good to begin with.. its sad when game developer only think their game only can be enjoy if they made in 4K and Nintendo dont have any 4K console yet and just skip it entirely..

3ds is 240p, switch handheld is 720p and docked 1080p

Whats the framerate on 3ds? it looks choppier than the 30fps on switch.

Unfortunately, the framerate was unlocked in the 3DS original. It could hit 30, but it goes way below that, too. The Switch version is locked at 30fps and 1080p(720p undocked). The Switch version is essentially better in about every way, though, it's not "3D" like the original.
