62 years old in this video and in perfect shape, conditioning and style! What a babe! And she lived another 24 years after this show. R.I.P. My Dear Cyd Charisse!

Very true!!! she was a wonderful dancer, beautiful looking, but I watched a movie documentary and a lot of the film crews found her very perfession, but a cold character. 🐶🐶🐶🐶

@@mariaevans7811 As long as she wasn't cold to Tony is what matters. She always had that aloof demeanor in movies, so maybe she was just staying in character. Maybe she was just shy and it came off as cold. How many Playboy playmates said they were shy growing up. Maybe dancing was her way of expressing herself, rather than vocally. Maybe that's why she was attracted to Tony because he express himself vocally. I'm just theorizing here.
@fredbloggs60803 жыл бұрын
@Blythe Girl Well, if she was happily married she wouldn't be putting out those vibes anyway, I would assume. Unless she was a married version of Ado Annie. I remember in the 70s when Farrah Fawcett was the hottest female celebrity, and always complained that she didn't have any privacy. One commentator pointed out that while complaining about this, she did nothing to be less flamboyant and tone down or hide herself.
@fredbloggs60803 жыл бұрын
@Blythe Girl I believe Farah's last relationship, with Ryan O'Neal was a good one. I don't know that it was so much that Farrah self-destructed but that her controlling husband at the time, Lee Majors, steered her wrong to break her Charlie's Angels contract after one year, and she was blacklisted for a while, but she did good work later in TV movies. I don't know much about her son. I saw her live once in the early 1980s at the Burt Reynolds dinner theater in Florida, her first stage acting, in Butterflies Are Free, with Bruce Davison, in the part Goldie Hawn played in the movie, and as a local critic said, she had a bright sunshiney aura on stage, which is true, and she was very good. There are some celebrities who seem to thrive in the spotlight, and even become president.

What a beautiful couple. She was doing this at 62 years of age. He was 72 when this was recorded. He performed up until he was 95, even after she had passed away in 2008. There just isn't any talent like this any longer. Thanks for posting. Please find more.

Amazing that he went on performing even as late as 1984. If one's honest, he sounds terrible here...he can barely stay in tune...his voice a shell of it's former self. At least Cyd could still kick her legs up high...

She deserved more fame. She’s not a household name like Marilyn or Debbie Reynolds’s, Should be. That is the sexiest woman at that age you’ll ever see her body looks almost exactly like it did in the 50’s

Keeping active saved her life and she and Tony lived a long time. Fred Astair was active even after he retired, up till he reached 82, and Gene Kelly. Debbie Reynold's, poor soul, who lost her daughter the next day couldn't take living with out her Carrie, she was active, in acting and dancing in Vegas, and other towns. Staying active is the key to life. Sitting all day long behind a computer or on a tablet takes away life. Unless your a shut in a some nursing hole, and can't escape.
