The Brave Hero review is always more in-depth, but I honestly feel this is endgame level Feh coverage, impossible to improve on it. The gameplay scenes on the left enhancing what's being said (even perfectly matching the actions, like the clicks on the debuff/buff icons :D), the new ability Icons on the summary to digest the numerous effects easier, even small recaps how *other* meta heroes interact with the Braves. I guess that's what almost a decade of game coverage leads to, but it's impressive development regardless.

I feel like we’re only moving towards some classic IS counterplay for multi-action units since it’s becoming much more common. Wouldn’t be surprised if within the year a new unit/skill comes with an effect like “if foe triggers “grants unit another action” [excluding Specials that grant another action] inflicts Gravity on foe,” or extreme overcorrection with complete nullification within X spaces

I have been using B!Felix in AR-O and his amazing damage output with AoEs as well as the ability to get another action even if he lands on a trap makes him very good at busting through enemies while getting his HP into WoM range. He also still hits hard after his initial AoE special which was something that A!Ced struggled with. And using the Celica ring on him...yep. Good luck staying out of his threat range if you don't have warp blocking.

For Felix, I think Gust is actually the better damaging option than the AoE specials. Since he gets the Tempo effect and the unique double Slaying effect, if you give him one Pulse then he can trigger Gust twice in a single round of combat. This also means he's less vulnerable to healing from BoL4 or Healing Nectar, and he's much less likely to do 0 damage from running into big flat DR.

Thank you for the builds!! I've been running Felix with E! Marth's ring (since i don't have E!Celica) and with Duo Askr in a hit and run type of team, he has been pretty good so far! He can even tank for the team if required. For now I'll be holding onto my free summon since I'm still at 50 summons on the CYL banner without any 5 stars(like at all lol). I'll probably go for B! Alfonse though if i don't get him on the banner itself.

I needed to come back for one more update. A max B!Alfonse can reach 99 in 2/3 stats of atk/def/res after blessings. Summoner's choice of which 2 of the 3 he will get to 99 on. Consider him future proofed, as the only way that is ever going to be bad is if 99 is no longer a wanted base stat.

Curved shot is better on characters that have built in Dr piercing but deadeye is better on those without it. From what I heard at least

Generally, if an archer has any business tanking, doesn't have -1 Slaying weapon or already has DR piercing with PNFU/Tempo etc. then they want Curved Shot over Deadeye. Damage output of Deadeye is better but Curved shot's unpiercable DR is too valuable for bulky archers. We are seeing more ways of outsourcing DR piercing and a lot of units like L!Claude, Bernie etc already have 50% piercing in their weapon, so going forward, archers will prefer Curved shot more I think!

B!Felix is the best if you want a one and done unit that is reliable with no investment beyond base kit tools. B!Alfonse is currently the only unit in the game that can get undebuffable 99 defense without merges or def boon thanks to blessings, seal and great tactics. Worst of the 4 with no investment beyond base kit, but is overpowered and future proofed with dedication.

By that I mean, most prfs nowadays come with it (some even get it as a refine) so it isn't super uncommon and seen as weird when a prf DOESNT have one. Thanks to you I made my choice of taking a free Felix. He is so fun! Berni is good but stats effects can be neutralized. Alfonse is incredible but his Grand Stategy need turns and actions. And I am very confidente we will get more units with Divine Vein Ice. So Felix was my choice as a Galeforce player. And I have a question with Fortifications. You get the DC with any Divine Vein? Heads up on B!Alfonse since it was missed in his segment: If you manage to bless his atk, def or res to 80 or more, his Great Tactics skill will still be able to go up to 20 even though those stats reached 99. In exchange, every stat over 99 becomes a permanent stat debuff negate against true stats. For example: 86 base defense Alfonse due to blessings gets to 99 defense at Great Tactics +13. At Great Tactics +20, and a debuff of -7 to his defense, Alfonse will still have 99 defense. It's a super specific but very useful skill side perk that isn't covered much.

I'm not quite sure if putting Fortifications on my Valentines Ephraim is a good idea or not, but I love using him in battle, and the Celica ring would make it easier for him to initiate combat. I'm so torn 🤣😅

Fortifications is bad idea on almost all armors since you need to initiate first to get stone terrain & DC out of it!

How does Felix work with Rally Up skills? If someone else gets targeted with Rally Up but Felix gets buffed as a result does he no longer get his extra action?

What if I want to run Validar and Robin on the same team? Is Creation Pulse still his best C in that scenario, or is it redundant? I recently +10'd Validar, so I'm curious how to use him efficiently in this meta.

They don't really have overlap except the panic status so Validar should work fine with F!Robin.

We seriously need at least a soft counter to emblem Ike. He’s such a pain to get rid of especially if you lack the exact tools needed to take him down. He’s had it too good for too long and needs to be taken down a peg like V!Lyon

Nah, Laguz Friend is her best special with GLR. Reopening is not good for her. The only good fodder from Brave Alfonse for her is, Breath of Life.

Idk if this is a dumb question but does creation pulse work with stat debuffs or does it have to be a status effect? I want it for my L!M! Byleth but I don't have any status debuffs on my arena team :(

It has two checks, any debuffs including stat debuffs trigger the first condition which gives you +3 Atk/Spd and then the second check exclusively wants penalty status effects on the foe. It's recommended to have penalty status effects along with the debuffs to make full use out of it. We have S/D Ruse 4 in Divine Codes so try and see if you can put it on your arena team for enabling your L!M!Byleth's Creation Pulse

It does work, yeah it's good to have it for anti-scowl but unless you already have something like TP4 on B!Marth, he will like it more due flexibility and it's always going to get better with newer Slot B options.

I feel like you should get Felix instead. One copy of Felix is gonna be going a long way and he is so meta impactful & versatile, that I think missing him would be a big deal especially when you have got all others. Emblem Ike can still take advantage of Breath of Life 4 if you have Alfonse in 2 spaces of him!

Someone calculated all the votes by series, and if I remember correctly, Engage characters were the overall most voted, but of course split votes. I feel like Engage fans, and people who expected Engage to win are going to take the next one more serious and not assume it will be a sweep. Still, I do hope there is diversity. Personally I just want Diamant and Yunaka, or Ivy to win, and then maybe Male Byleth and Dorothea, Azura or Julia

guess she stopped being a loner cause in 80 pulls i got 3 Bernies lol, ended up sparking for the other 3 but couldn't try them at full efficiency yet because damn grinding units without *2 sp is slow, with every unit having tier 4 skills they really could make the *2 multiplier a permanent thing
