I thing you inserted in the wrong way and pull key go down. You take out the knob one again and check the key (which used to lock the knob) and reinsert

Excellent video sir..i just repaired my door lock, there was a problem to refiit the knob after tightening the disc...i was confident that I am not going to break the lock.. just gave a little tap on the rear knob and it is ok...

Sir, May be its a spring issue. But My suggestion is if it is not working then replace the lock, cost starts at 250 onwards, you will get the same at any hardware shop. In my experience Europa locks lasted longer than Godrej! 2 of the godrej locks stopped working within couple of years. You didn't tell fix for how to open permanently locked door from one side

No its not possible. You are taking about LATCH assembly and Cylinder TUMBLER. Aap FACE - MOUNTING PLATE tak hi repair kar sakti hai. Its my personal suggestion you buy a new lock. Cost starting at Rs. 500/-
