9:03 this popup message is not shown in catia v5 r20 and after clicking on mechanism in the tree it is showing mechanism caanot be simulated add commands and joints...... i followed all the steps but still.... Help please

Hi Neel, But this should not happen..if you are following the procedure.. Pls check whether you have selected line 1 & line 2 in a proper way like for cylinder and block... Also check whether the cylinder rod is fixed? Only these two points needs to be checked.. Try this and let us know. If again this is not solved..pls insert the screenshot here.. @@CADTutorialsForBeginners actually I wanted to vary only angle so I selected only angle in cylindrical joint but after few attempts when I selected both length and angle it worked so I got to know that it will work only if you select both the options at time of cylindrical joint function... Thanks for your response.... Plus I need your help in another simulation that I am working on but I want assembly constraints to work simultaneously with the simulation.... can you please help me..... It would be great if I get your email address....

Dear Saurabh, 1 DOF means, part have one direction free that might be rotational or translational, and rests are fixed. Similarly for 2 DOF, 3DOF etc
