Just moved over from a full Pearl Icon rack setup to Gibraltar stands for my upcoming tours. After the first 3 shows I've got to say I'm really impressed. The Icon rack is incredibly solid but also very bulky, heavy and hard to move off stage in separate components and the Gibraltar gear has really performed well. Gibraltar: There's a clamp for that. Also, I would totally get an app that contains a database of the complete gibraltar catalog, just saying.

Since I've had to move my kit basically in to the closet, these videos (along with the stealth videos) have been a massive help.

Thanks Bret for all the cool setups you do. I've really learned quite a bit from your videos. Just picked up a SC-DCT and at first I could not get the splash where I wanted it, so.... I came back to this vidoe and... BAM! You showed me at 3:00 in the video. Now its exactly where I need it. If I could post a video reply I would!

I have an X hi hat attached to my rack's boom arm, a heavy ride attached to a boom stand with an SC-GCA and a 12" china attached to a boom arm with a SC-CMBRA. I hit hard and they never mooves or slip. Gibraltar gives me all the hardware i need and they still innovating!

I use alot of these methods in my setup. Added additional splashes and crashes to my large kit. Thanks for the information.

need...more....rack...videos.... :) this stuff is cool, but i miss your rack stuff. and since i just added a 10 and 14 tom to my rack, i had to move a bunch of my cymbals around... id like to get them in the same spots as they were...some cymbal mounting options for rack systems would be cool.. especially ones that are rack specific.

my only concern with all these options is repeatability in setting it up for each rehearsal or gig. What do you guys do for that? magic marker spots? or what? seems like the memory locks are only for the bigger bars and such of a rack system
