Not really. "Easier to assimilate than explain" is a past quote Cyn said in episode 2. Remember, Cyn is terrifying because it is an Eldritch horror that plays with its food. "Resistance is futile." Sounds too out of character for it.

I just found the way the voice actress delivered the “resistance is futile” very well, especially with the context that Uzi and the others are fighting back against her. My best guess is that they changed this because “easier to assimilate than explain” wouldnt fit into the translated script (and “assimilate” in german is a very unknown word) But I do prefer the english OG quote.

Tagalog (PHILIPPINES MENTIONED RAHHHH) and French are my personal favorites. I like how they actually got me to feel something (mostly tagalog though), that being slightly unsettled. the Indonesian "Callback ping" is actually pretty creepy I never in life want to hear the german "Callback ping" nope The French "Let me in" is really cute and flows better imo Tagalog sounded really cool all through out and the laugh was sinister AF and I'm so used to psycho female voices in Japanese and Korean that its not really creepy anymore but still really well done
