Cyndie's Templates for Use with the MISTI - Part1

A fellow stamper shared these templates with me that can be used to stamp repetitive patterns on circles using different shapes underneath.

I just printed out these templates. For some reason yours look so much bigger than mine. Would you give me the square's measurements so I can determine if I have the correct size before I cover them?

It's clear Contact paper meant for shelf lining. You should be able to find it almost anywhere (Target, Walmart, etc.).

I went to your blog and the PDF files and the templates don't print properly for me. The right side of the template is always cut off. What am I doing wrong??

Linda Mott Hi Linda - did you save them to your computer first and then try to print? Some people said that they can't print directly from Dropbox because it sizes them funny. Hope this helps!

Maureen Wong I just saved them like you said then went to print preview and there is now LESS of the diagram on the page.

Linda Mott Make sure you don't have "Fit to Page" checked. Also, each template is about 5" - 6" so they shouldn't fill up the entire page.

Linda Mott If I could copy and paste them onto something I could then print but you can't copy and paste a PDF.

Maureen I am a little confused on the templates and the transparencies. I thought I understood that we can use colored cardstock in our printer and go to the pdf for the templates and print them out onto the cardstock. What is it that we need the transparencies for?

+Jackie Brewer the hex, oct, and square you print at home and cover with contact paper, shelf liner, from $ tree. the " bumpers" or transparencies are used to make a temporary edge to use to keep your project lined up when you want to use another area to stamp, besides the bottom left corner. Those you can get on line or at wallmart, etc.. type in non slip gridded vinyl sheets for about 6 bucks. it comes with 2 blanks and you can use one to put over your project, stamp and see if it is where you wanted that image. that way you're not marking on your card. hope I didn't over explain and make it worse!! lol hope this helps!
