Heartbreaking how he's clearly still struggling with some survivor's guilt, he' s changed a lot in the last couple of years, even his clothing style, grief hit him hard. As much as I'd love another Cynic's record, no music is worth dying for. Please remember that people love you for who you are and not for what you can give them.

Art heals, Maybe if Sean was able to make music and tour he would still be alive. Ive deal with sick people and the best thing they can do is go back to work. Slowly but steady. Otherwise you kill them. Specially artists.

This interview is kinda important as it goes through deep topics about life along with musicianship. I have been - and I am still - deeply touched by Ascension Codes as there is this energy of grief, death and infinity, and hearing about how Paul Masvidal gave everything to bring this record in existence makes me reconsider how important the album is. great interview. as a musician/artist/(person even) never get comfortable, always get outside your comfort zone/taste death/go where you fear, I believe that's where you will feel/create the greater things/progress!
