I love verosika's regular look but I HATED how her human disguise looked. Like it doesn't seem to translate her look or personality like at all. And I 100% agree that it looks like a disney pop star outfit, which explains why I hated it. Definitely would have made sense to have her look like more of a pop star for an adult audience, more so with her being a succubus and a chronic drinker who literally had a song called Bonetown in her introduction episode. Also agree on not understanding the hate for her, at least in regards to her relationship with Blitzo as the show seems to depict Blitzo being the one to mostly screw up their relationship, therefore her being in the right for her getting mad at him. She isn't like overtly cartoony evil like whatever was going on with the Glam Sisters in the recent episode abd the way they were being overtly rude to Fizz for......idk? Fizz didn't even do anything rude to them prior?! 😂 Update: finished video, and oh no, Stryker is hot! I actually didn't think much of him aside from him being cool, but yeAh, Mexican Cowboy! Represent! 🎉

While I think a lot of the Verosika hate is undeserved, one reason I personally have issues with her is that in the episode she was introduced in she and her succubi --get lustful with-- Moxxie against his will. It happens behind glass in silhouettes and the series glosses over it pretty quickly, so it doesn't really read sinisterly, but it's something I personally can't get over. Anyway, they all look great, and I love how you designed Striker's jacket 🌶!

Many people don’t like Verosika maybe because we don’t know much about their relationship yet. We don’t know what happened to make blitz max her credit card on horse riding lessons and stuff. A lot of people think verosika was the one who made blitz want to do that to get revenge and she hadn’t realized that she’d done that. It’s like how when stolas was asking how has he ever looked down on blitz, many times we can see him calling blitz a tiny imp throughout the show. They never realized what they were doing.

Another commenter mentioned the cowboy priest aesthetic which is my FAVORITE thing (these are both super niche but Galahad from high noon over camelot and sir Tristan from penumbra pod). Omg I just noticed the background is from Genshin I think 💀 Anyways, I loved Verosikas design soooo much! Her human form in the show is definetly a woman of color. I totally agree with you about Verosika having done nothing wrong. I feel like, if people are against her, it's because the show is biased against her. And I play along while watching it, but I don't really believe it. Blitzø literally hurt her, and she's pissed about it. That's it, literally. btw, your outfit design for her is gorgeous!

The way I saw it, she was originally made out to be an antagonist - we're introduced to her from Blitz's point of view in an episode where she goes out of her way to be petty and rude towards him. But later episodes, like the one where Blitz is hallucinating and the one at Ozzy's, made me see her in a different light. Even in Blitz's own subconsciousness she calls him out for being selfish - meaning that he is aware that he treated her badly but isn't ready to acknowledge it or make amends. I think it's kind of brilliant actually - at first we are biased against her because the show doesn't give us the full story, but then it's gradually revealed and we get to see how the protagonist is actually the villain in a lot of his personal conflicts.
