I enjoyed Cynthia's reflections and assessment of the show. It's easy to judge things like this 20 years later, I appreciate her and the topics they brought into light, even if not all ages well and if more could have been done

I truly think she would have made an excellent governor. But I will say it does bother me when celebrities want to enter politics at very high levels. I know anything is possible because we had a reality tv star as president (yuck). But a big part of me just thinks that if they truly care about things and truly want to get in there and make an impact, spend just a little time learning the ropes and actually being involved in the day to day of the job before you go for something big. City council or even the House of Representatives. Senator, Governor, President. I just feel like it's worth learning things a bit more when there's truly not relevant experience. Again, I still think she would've done an amazing job as governor. I just think she would've had a more successful campaign if she would've established her experience a little better. Yes, there's always exceptions. I would've voted for her if I lived in New York. But I usually just feel more comfortable with someone who has some first hand experience. You don't need a decade in the field, but at least some time does help.

That was the writers. She said they asked her and she was fine either way but why not? I think it’s a great storyline for her, we never see late in life coming out stories. Sure the breakup with Steve was awkward but such is life. I think giving her a significant life change added vibrancy to the character.

I never felt the show lacked that. I know that now a days people go back to revise what “a show needed” but the show was as successful because so many people actually connected to the show. You don’t go to a show that only features a certain race and then declare it unrepresentative of the current world state or not being “whatever” enough.

Why do they always mention the color? Why was SATC "White Washed"? What does that bs even mean? They make it a theme. I never thought about who is white, black or whatever. It was just a great series with funny, entertaining women. And there were many "black" people on the series. So wtf? I think when you always mention "black" "white" and all colours you make it worse. Racism will get worse when you talk about it all the time. The wrong way!!!
