@@BushcraftRidge oh ok, yeah I cant wait for my boys to be old enough to go down the river with me, it's great to be able to pass on outdoor activities and resources to our children, it will stay with them the rest of their lives.

@@PADDLECAMPFISH So true. My boys are 13, 10, and 4. I usually take them out one at a time for my own sanity. 🤣🤣🤣

Beautiful place, love your videos. What kind of kayak dolly are you using at the boat launch? Waiting to try Kaku’s new Zulu board this fall. Got to paddle the owner Kevin’s Vudu this year (the one he used on his videos) & it’s great, but waiting to try the new one before buying because we fish rivers, saltwater, & lakes. Hoping his new model fills the bill as a nice relaxing paddle board feel like yours, with the ability to add a pedal drive or a trolling motor to cover more ground when I need that for reaching the flats & deal with our Gulfcoast area winds.

I got the Zulu on my wish list lol, the dolly is a baby trend stroller I made into a voodoo dolly. It was cool the two bars on the stroller fit perfectly into the voodoo scupper holes. I reinforced it with some PVC and it works really well.

I think the Zulu will definitely be the ticket for you!

PADDLE CAMP FISH what a clever idea using baby stroller wheels.

Have you tried launching from Cotton Landing, it’s a dedicated kayak launch and closer to the spring.
@PADDLECAMPFISH5 жыл бұрын
No I haven't tried that one, but I'll definitely will try it on my next visit. Is it up or downstream?
@casterman35 жыл бұрын
It’s about 1/4 mile upstream. Super easy. The entrance is off hwy 277

How long does it take to get to cypress springs padding upstream from millers creek
@PADDLECAMPFISH Жыл бұрын
Not long about 15 minutes. It's easier to put in at Cotton Landing and go with the river. The paddle back is shorter.
