CYPRUS, LIMASSOL THE BEAUTIFUL CITY

Limassol is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus. It’s known for the centuries-old Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum and its collection of pottery and tombstones. On the seafront is the Prokymea (Molos) Sculpture Park, with sculptures by Cypriot, Greek and international artists. To the northeast is the Limassol Archaeological Museum, exhibiting artifacts from the Neolithic to the Roman periods.

I love Cyprus and been all over, currently living in Pafos, while limmasol has it's good points I couldn't wait to leave it, to much city living for me, but again has many good points but far from the best place to live in Cyprus, like many comments have said very Russian, don't really get the mentality maybe they just don't like English.

Well, the Turks stole the island's most stunning scenery and monuments/cultural heritage and this is all we have left now. Really sorry that what we're left with isn't up to your standards. Unless you want to contribute in any way to an effort aimed at ending the Turkish occupation so that we can return back to our homes, record the picturesque northern side of the island and post videos of that instead, there's nothing we can do.

See the thing is Turks and greeks lived on the island for 2000 years until some idiot from Greece thought it was a good idea for the greeks to clean up Cyprus and make it a Greek island and unite it with Greece. Turks and Greeks have not lived together for 2000 years... on the other hand Greeks and Armenias, Assyrians, Phrygians, Hattians, Persians, etc have. Turkic tribes have first came into Anatolia/Byzantine Empire now called 'Turkey' during 1091. The Ottomans invaded Cyprus in 1571, if my maths are correct that's 445 years not 2000. So stop spreading false and invalid information about Cyprus. Cyprus was never turkish, the majority of its population 82% is greek, so the minority should accept it. I currently live in Germany where 77% of its population are germans and the rest are immigrants i dont see them wanting to rename Germany and change its law and make it into a new country. Its all about respecting the land you are in and integrating and not trying to be the boss of that country. Cypriots suffered a lot during the Ottoman Empire because they were christians. I have no hatred towards the people of Turkey but I do think that you should try and educate yourself about whats true and whats not. Peace is obviously a way better solution than wars. But a lot has to change in the mentality of both cultures.
